The Golf Club at Eagle Creek
About
The Golf Club at Eagle Creek in Moyock was designed with all players in mind. At just over 6,700 yards from the back tees, the course is not overly long but there are several holes that provide some length. Formerly known as Mill Run, the course underwent renovations and a name change under new ownership. The golf course is wide open, which means wind will definitely come into play during your round and there are also several water holes. The course has a links feel without any of the harsh links penalties. Instead, golfers will find that the landing areas are quite generous, offering a little room for error. Four different sets of tees make the golf course even more approachable for a wide range of skill levels. Another appealing aspect of the Golf Club at Eagle Creek is the fact that it's conveniently located less than an hour from Kitty Hawk and the OBX beaches.

How can they call it a golf course?
one of the worst courses I have ever played, rough was unmowed, some of the fairways were not recently mowed. we had to wait 15 t0 20 min for kids playing kick golf on the course, that's right, there is a kick golf course on the regular course and everyone was backed up waiting while kids played, REALLY! Greens were slow and huge damage on them, large indents where work was done and never filled in. Just an awful course. can't believe I drove 35 min to try this, what a waste.
Getting Better!
They are going in the right direction. New cart paths, and the greens are healing. Dan and his staff are always friendly. The Grill is always cheerful and has good food. Only one ball washer on the course, the traps lack sand, and no Water stations anymore. We all want to see this course be successful.
Going in the right direction.
This was my third round at Eagle Creek and it's getting better every time. They are building cart paths now and the greens and tees were pretty good and the rest is coming along. They have always had great food and friendly service. The young lady that took care of us on this drizzly Easter Sunday was exceptionally friendly and made us feel like old friends.
When we made the turn she literally ran from the cart stable to the clubhouse to get us some drinks and snacks.
And we got a great hot deal, so all in all it was worth the trip and I'll be back.
Needs cart paths
The greens are excellent nice track friendly staff needs concrete or paved cart paths
.True Country Club Atmosphere!
More than just a Great golf course. They have something to entertain every member of the family. From the fantastic food to the fire pits out back there is no better place in Moyock to relax.
Play Local
Good local course not to difficult and not to full so you are not rushed on the course. course has been improving every year with new ownership. Food at the clubhouse is amazing staff is friendly and they are always holding events on weekends and Friday nights great for the kids too.
Greens are awesome
Wow the greens have really improved . looks as if the over seaded for the winter . bar and grill staff are always friendly .
Wide open
Nice wide open space. Work being done on several of the greens had us putting on the fairway with a temporary hole. Greens run extremely fast.
Fun course, good value.
There were a couple of temporary greens when we played but you can't beat the price. Layout and overall conditions are good. Pace of play is up to you.
Improving
The staff is very friendly. The course is definitely improved. They are letting areas between holes grow up providing more separation. They have more concrete cart paths. Golf carts were very clean. The only area of improvement I could see would be the greens and they are getting better. The staff in the pro shop is great. I will play more.
Needs some TLC
We played this course for the first time this past weekend and we're somewhat disappointed. The greens were in very rough shape and need a lot of work. The fairways were okay as were the men's tee boxes. Not so for the women's tees. Recommend management devote some time and effort to making them equal to the men's tees. The course is advertised as being a "links" course but a links course has mounds and humps and sand and grouse; this course is just flat with some nice water hazards. However, not everything is a negative. The basic layout is pretty good and there has been a lot of effort expended making up for years of serious neglect. A few trees and shrubs to break up the monotony and leaving some rough to help define fairways would be a big help toward making the course much more playable and enjoyable. When they get the greens back into condition we intend to play there again.
Aeration made for lousy greens
Front 9 greens were recently aerated & more gravel than green. Back 9 not so bad.
Great People, Great Value, Nice Course
First time playing here. Very friendly and helpful staff; fairways in decent shape but some of the greens need work. Good food. Definitely a good value and I will return and play again
Nice golf Courses
Very very Nice location, Nice people good food very good condition , Bunker very good sand Nice organization , golf car Nice condition very good price for tee time & very good area
STAY AWAY
The course is junk. Greens were terrible. They need to shut this place down again for good. Much better places to play for the same amount of money.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
The course is basically flat and featureless with very little water in play and very few bunkers or trees. It was difficult to distinguish the fairways from the rest of the course. Distinguishing the greens was also difficult from a distance. Fairway condition was fair, with a few weedy patches and holes. The greens were a mixture of grasses with occasional bare spots and were very rough, slow and difficult to putt on, especially longer putts. The clubhouse was about what you would expect in Moyock. If you are just looking for a cheap place to play that isn't too crowded, go there. It would be a good place to beginning golfers....hard to lose balls here. If you are looking for a quality golf experience, I would look elsewhere.
Goor Course
Had a great time with a challenging course that tested skills of all ranges
Wide open
Not punishing enough off the tees. played off the tips and pretty much open. fairways burned out prob seasonal. greens above avg.
