Vacation.. from Pennsylvania
What a pleasant surprise! This was our first time playing at Battlefield Golf Club, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The course is beautiful, well maintained, and offers some really scenic views throughout the round. The brand-new golf carts were immaculate and made the experience even better.
We were vacationing in the area while my mom was receiving dialysis nearby, and spending the day on this course was the perfect way to make the most of our time. The staff was friendly, the pace was enjoyable, and the links-style layout made for a fun and memorable round.
We’ll definitely make a point to come back the next time we’re in the Chesapeake area. Highly recommend!
Pleasantly Surprised
Drive by this course all the time going back and forth from VB to Moyock. Such a pleasant surprise. The course was a lot of fun and in really great shape. Layout was challenging but not overwhelming. Greens were faster than expected but fair. One caveat and it could have been bc we had an early tee time, this was the busiest golf course I’ve ever played on. Greens keepers, maintenance crew, other golfers, power line workers… the place was buzzing with activity. Didn’t really affect my game lol but you did have to be aware before you hit. Will be coming back!
Good Bang for your bucks
Course is in good shape . Has good challenging holes, great place to play for what you pay..
Course is in great shape!
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all in great condition. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure playing there!
Clubhouse?
This place needs a proper clubhouse.. Battlefield uses a trailer as a Clubhouse..although there has been a sign for future site of clubhouse for many years..
Good beginners course
Learning to play golf and enjoy this course for how forgiving some of the fairways are, staff is friendly no issues from other golfers things are laid back but not alot of standing around and waiting definitely coming back soon
Course is in great shape
The course conditions were very good. The pace of play was average. There is still no clubhouse so there are no 19th hole amenities. The only bathrooms are portable potties.
