Cow Pasture
The course would be such a great course if they would only do something with their greens. They are patchy, dead and hard as concrete.
Nice place to play....
The course is improving under the new ownership. Still need work on the greens and the bunkers. The layout is fun to play and the staff is great. Will definitely play again.
Good not great
Some fairways not cut, greens have a lot of bad spots. Most hole positions where away from damaged greens. Decent course. Just needs some attention to greens and fairways. Also couldn't play one hole, Sprinklers came on while on tee box we hit had to run to pick up balls to avoid sprinklers. Water was puddling on green unable to put
Keep Driving
Keep driving right past the pines to somewhere else. Anywhere you go north south east or west, you’re sure you get a much better value than this place. Layout is fun and challenging but uneven tee boxes, long fairways, bunkers mind as well not even be there and patchy unreceptive greens make the course very unenjoyable. The course has continuely raised greens fees and the conditions have steadily gone down hill. Travel 45 minutes any direction and pay the same or less for FAR better golf! Save your time and money, go elsewhere.
What happend to the Greens?
The fairways need trimming, the Greens need grass support, and the hole needs to be updated to accommodate the ball; most holes have not been redone in weeks.
Nice course but in bad shape
This used to be a beautiful course but the greens
are in really bad shape and the tee boxes weren’t cut .
.
I was disappointed since this course was always a nice course to play.
Never again
Unfortunately this course has taken a steep nose dive. The fairways had not been cut in awhile, and the ones that had been cut this morning had streaks everywhere and grass clippings all over the place.
Last time I’m playing for the price they charge. A shame my “home” course has turned into nothing more than a backyard with a few pins.
Disappointed
This course used to be super nice. Today’s round was a major disappointment with the fairway grass being extremely tall. The crabgrass has taken over as well. Greens are not terrible, but have some spots that need a little love.
Overall it’s likely my last time playing my “home” course as the price has risen while the quality of the facility has fallen.
Friendly staff though…no complaints there!
Needs maintenance
The greeens are 1/4 dead with brown spots. The biggest issue was fairways were not cut and grass was so thick. Lost 3 balls in the middle of fairway because we couldn’t find them in the grass. Grass was same height as someone growing fescue front lawn 4-5” thick.
Used to be really nice
The course used to be kept up at a top notch public course. Now it’s under watered, greens have lost a lot of grass, driving range isn’t even up to backyard level. It’s convenient but not really worth the time to play. So very disappointed and sad at its current condition.
Nice course to play
Have played this course multiple times over the years and it is a fun course to play. The greens were very firm and still needing some work. The tee boxes were in fair shape and the fairways were in very good condition. They have put in allot of work cleaning up the areas under the trees and keeping the grass cut and trimmed. The only issue was the water coolers on the course, they had water in them but it was not cold so you could tell they hadn't been changed in awhile. The price was great and the staff was very personable. Will definitely play there again.
Great course great price
This is a great course nestled away in Elizabeth City. The greens were a little rough but the course was in great shape
Nice course, bad bugs..
The yellow flies are terrible this time of year out there.. And many mounds of fire ants on the fairways.. Not the courses fault.. But the flies kept me moving through the course quickly. Next time I'll remember the bug spray.. Lol
Always enjoy playing here.
