Well maintained and challenging course. Highly recommend.

Price ok for OBX golf however I don’t feel the other reviews accurately reflect the condition of the course. Driving range and some of the holes had many tall weeds. Fairways had many dead patches of grass or straight mud. Bunkers were mediocre. Golf cart given to us had broken steering but was drivable.

I recommend paying a few bucks more and going to other courses in the area.

Being talked up as one of outer banks premier courses is a far stretch. The greens were in great shape. But that’s one of the few positives. The driving range only allows a 7 or less and is in terrible shape, the tee boxes appeared to not have been cut for 2 weeks or so with weeds everywhere, the pace of play is was terrible with no starter people just lined off the first tee box backing up the whole course. If you’re a local it’s a nice course to come have a quick round but it’s not worth the $60 greens fee at all. If you have to travel over an hour to play this course it’s not worth the money there a far better options with better value.

Course in good shape. Nice variety of tees for all levels of players. Greens gorgeous! Aeration worked. Slightly slow. Tee shots somewhat open. Great semi-island par 3. Lots of water. Pretty layout. Fairways okay. Staff great. Range short, 7 iron in. Nice putting green. Nice snack bar. Great deal and a really fun course and day. Worth the drive from Kitty Hawk.

Great course, love the layout, conditions are a little rough, even for this time of year. Greens were in great shape.

Course is in excellent shape for the middle of winter. The greens are in AWESOME SHAPE!!! Challenging layout, fun course to play. Super friendly staff, we will definitely be coming back!!!!

I have played this course many times and it never gets old. great layout that can be as easy or hard as you want it to play. a beast from the back tees. but the course has several tees and can be enjoyed by everyone at all skill levels. the staff is the best you will find anywhere at any price. I cannot wait to play it again.

Best if you’re in OBX. Great people, cold beer, good food. Always in good condition.

Open fairways and fun course. Greens we’re aerated a bit ago and they told me that before I made my tee time which I appreciated greatly. They also cut their rates because of it. They have a neat par three copying 17 at Sawgrass that was fun. Rough not punishing. Traps could use a little work. Fairways were nice, greens were okay considering aeration. Not too crowded, friendly statf. Kind of a drive. Well worth the price. Good for the medium to high handicapper with the open fairways.

the course was in very nice shape and the staff personel that I encountered were friendly and polite. at the time that I was there the course was not very busy so I neither had to wait nor was I pushed

The course layout is amazing and the greens and fairways were perfectly groomed. The tee boxes were so well maintained you couldn’t find 1 broken tee. Lot of open land on this course, very hard to lose your ball unless you end up in the drink. Can not wait until next years vacation to come and play again,

The Carolina Club has a mopey Staff - the starter is Very Unfriendly and the greens have hundreds and hundreds of unfixed ball marks ( A 10 foot putt demands multiple ballmark fixes ) - For the money this track charges the tees have high uncut uneven grass - The ball does not sit-up at all in the fairways -- Seems to me it's just all about the money and not the upkeep --another legacy back-in-the-day course losing its character and quality.

The Carolina Club has a mopey Staff - the starter is Very Unfriendly and the greens have hundreds and hundreds of unfixed ball marks ( A 10 foot putt demands multiple ballmark fixes ) - For the money this track charges the tees have high uncut uneven grass - The ball does not sit-up at all in the fairways -- Seems to me it's just all about the money and not the upkeep --another legacy back-in-the-day course losing its character in quality.

This was a good golf course but nothing was that exciting about it. It was a little burnt out and had quite a few area that needed attention but I was informed it hadn’t really rained in three weeks and that early fall is really the best time to play. Greens were good shape they were true but slow, probably due to not wanting them to burn out so they seemed a little long. People and staff were awesome though and were really nice and informative. There was a few very pretty holes with great view and I enjoyed the overall experience. Five stars for me is pristine conditions and this was not that.

I play this course once a year. And it’s consistently the best course I play all year. It’s always in great shape! Love the layout and the greens are challenging. Outside of the geese tearing up the fairway on 18 and the Carolina humidity, it’s almost perfect!
