About
The Golf Club at Eagle Creek in Moyock was designed with all players in mind. At just over 6,700 yards from the back tees, the course is not overly long but there are several holes that provide some length. Formerly known as Mill Run, the course underwent renovations and a name change under new ownership. The golf course is wide open, which means wind will definitely come into play during your round and there are also several water holes. The course has a links feel without any of the harsh links penalties. Instead, golfers will find that the landing areas are quite generous, offering a little room for error. Four different sets of tees make the golf course even more approachable for a wide range of skill levels. Another appealing aspect of the Golf Club at Eagle Creek is the fact that it's conveniently located less than an hour from Kitty Hawk and the OBX beaches.

Rock Hard
The fairways are rock hard the tee boxes are rock hard. No sand bunkers. Was a good value when it was 25$ at 40$ there are much better local courses.
Bets course overall
Drove an hour from Corolla to this course and it was worth every penny. Front desk lady was awesome, and range was very nice couldn’t recommend it enough. $30 for 18 is the best value ever and the conditions were mint.
Very pleased
This was my first round at Eagle Creek this year. I've played other courses close by in Virginia but this course in my opinion was in great shape overall. Our pace was good (twosome) but on the back 9 we came upon a single that really held us up. We wound up going around him and the group in front of him, so we missed 2 holes.
They have done a major brush removal around one of the water holes and put sod in down to the water line. We didn't loose a ball but if you get close, you probably will be reaching for another.
The only aspect of the course I'm not crazy about is the cart paths. About 50% of them are dirt and gravel. Very bumpy and can be very dusty if you're riding behind another cart. It also makes the ride unpleasant.
Regardless, one of my favorites...
Suggestion
It would be nice if some breakfast sandwiches were available and possibly a cart person on the course with drinks
Solid value
Not much elevation change. In fact almost zero. Most greens are unguarded so bring your bump and run game. Water is rarely an issue and no bunkers. Course conditions were good. Staff was friendly. Will play there again.

Average Game
It was okay—This course changes from week to week and is normally good. Today the greens were sanded in the morning which made them a title rough in the afternoon..
Course Conditions Improving
With the recent increase in temperature the bermuda grass is starting to wake up. The greens are still firm and hard to hold due to recent aeration. Overall the course is good.
Lack of Comunication
The course had a shotgun tournament going on and neglected to post. The round was extremely long and the mgmt did not have anyone making sure pace of play stayed at a respectable pace.

Great links course
We played the course after a week long dry spell so the course was in good shape. The greens were in very good condition. Interesting layout with some challenging holes. Enjoyed the course and will be back.
