Eagle Ridge Golf Club

First time playing here in over a decade since I was in college. Staff was nice. Course was solid. Overall it’s a great layout. No notes. Conditions were solid. Greens had been punched a couple weeks prior so they were still healing from that but was honestly surprised with how fast they still ran, honestly excited to come back and play when they are fully healed because I bet they are really great. Range was off the grass which was welcome. I did a 5:30pm tee time just to get some golf in and only potential complaint was maybe pace of play but at that time of day I can’t expect to see rangers out there moving people along. Overall great experience and will be back to play in the near future

This is my first time playing this course. Unfortunately the greens were just aerated and the back nine was closed so I had to play the front nine twice. I played the whites and played very well. I Loved the elevation changes in the front (however, I did hear the back nine can break a man!!) there's definitely some hazard areas that will sneak up on you if you're not careful. And if you get stuck in some of the grass it is not forgiving. I really enjoyed the round, I look forward to going back and playing 18 on the fresh greens.

They aerated few days ago but playable . What a nice fairway. One of the best fairway I ever played

Please notify the public when you are aerating your facility . Just bad service and the fact only the front 9 holes are available for play. But you are still charging full rates.

Will not revisit. Just not worth the risk

Playing this course more than once will increase your enjoyment as some of the fairways are bi-sected by creek and waste areas that are not obvious from the tee.

Or I guess I could have used one of those Apps to give me a map of the hole, lol.

Looks like they’ve taken out some trees that really open the course up in spots. Nice refresher!!!

Great facility and very well maintained. Staff was nice and round was the proper pace, despite cart path only (post significant rain). I'm ready to go back. Nice layout and nice course in the RDU area... all at the right price. We did not leverage the off course amenties.

I have played at Eagle Ridge on and off since it opened and this was the most frustrating of all my rounds. The foursome in front of us includes two men a little older than me (I am 70) who were extremely rude in their lack of golf etiquette. So many incidents that I will not try to recount. The ranger never addressed their slow pace; even after we skipped around them. There were 4 holes with no players on their ahead of this foursome.! A completely frustrating round of gold due to pace. On top of that they had a fertilizer truck on site, we were cart path only and some greens were covered in a fine layer of fertilizer. Try putting on a surface like that. They should have closed down for the day. I will not be playing there anytime in the next few years.

I love playing this course. It was very busy for a Monday but the pace of play was still good. This course has challenge, interesting layout, and long, but very playable if you take your time and play strategically. I shot a 91 which is great for me and hubby shot a 86.

Play this course a few times a month, always fun and challenging. Course is always in good condition. For your money such a good time. Sometimes the younger guy at the counter can be a little rude and short but the rest of the staff is really nice. I’ll always start my weekly round checking tee times here.
