Tee times should be honored. Groups of 4 should not be allowed to “squeeze in after 2pm”. It should not take 3.5 hours to play 9 holes.
Soggy course
Be aware that this course does not drain. The fairways and tee boxes are well after any rains. The greens and bunkers are in good shape but the fairways are almost unplayable.
Solid course for a great price
Played after an unusually cold and wet week in February. The course was definitely soggy, but the greens were in great shape given the conditions. Not a terribly challenging course, but awry shots can get you in trouble very easily. There’s a good bit of water that comes into play and makes you think through shots.
Too muddy for me
The course was very muddy. It was cart path only, and it was clear from tire tracks that people had violated that rule, which exacerbated the problem.
WET!!
The drainage on this course is not good. Always wet. Especially on the back 9.
Too wet
They need to suspend play until the ground has tightened / dried. It was a swamp. Nearly fell down on a couple of swings in the tee box. Greens and bunkers were in great shape, just needed hip waders to get there. Good course and in good shape mid summer. But far too wet to be very enjoyable right now.
Enjoyable day on very wet course.
Course was extremely wet/soggy with some fairways being so wet it was difficult to get to your ball. Greens are in fantastic shape! For some reason they removed the 150 yard markers from the middle of the fairways which I really do not. So PLEASE put them back.
Pace of play too slow
They started late due to frost, but overbooked At 11am there were 8 people on the 1st fairway and another 10 lining up to play.
NC weather
No secret this has been the wettest winter in a while, the course was very soggy but that was expected. The course still played alright, and the greens are looking tight shouts to the to the crew out there. The staff was super friendly. Also, if you like brats you would be doing yourself a disservice by not getting one. I’ll be coming back for sure. Hit it hard!
