Great course for any level.
This was a great golf course for a beginner like myself. There was a variety of holes that ranged from easy par 3s to challenging par 5s. I will definitely be playing the course again often.
Nothing special, but better than I remember
I hadn't played RGA in more than a year because it is underwhelming (although I did once get to meet and play with a local celebrity).
This is a par-72 course barely over 6,000 yards from the tips. The par-3s are solid, however most of the par-4s are under 350 (again, from the tips). Course condition is better than I remember, save a couple greens that were recently reseeded. Staff was friendly and pace was decent, even great by the time we reached the back 9.
It's not a bad place to go when I need a change of scenery, but it may be once or twice a year.
Nice coarse
I really like this coarse, played with my 3 older children a week ago and they really liked it, open fairways, nice roughs, few greens were under repair from dry summer, but overall a great time
Good course for beginner
Decent course. A little expensive for what you get. Staff are great. Very laid back. Cart paths need work
Sooooooo slowwwwwwww
I guess you can continue to charge top rates for sub par golf.
I know the weather was great and on a weekend there are a lot of golfers but you can’t have a starter who says off the first tee it will be slow.
Well I guess so with no ranger to move people along. Too many players wanting to play from back tees then take long times looking for there ball because they try to hit too far.
Can’t believe starter would let a foursome tee off with only two sets of clubs. Takes longer to play when you share clubs.
Just poor management and NO supervision on the course.
Hopefully better days are ahead.
Good day
Pace was good, conditions good. Just alot of leaves and pine needles. Hard to find ball.
Good beginners course
Staff was a little rude but I like the course for shorter easier holes
Good value
Course was a little crowded on a Friday afternoon with the group in front of us appearing to show someone how to play. They seemed to be demonstrating swing mechanics and stance. That’s a range issue, folks.
The course was in really good shape except for two greens which had been the victims of some drainage and plumbing repairs. The clubhouse warned us, however, and awarded a two-putt maximum for those holes.
This course is always fun and definitely worth the money-$35, including cart, through GolfNow. Very accessible to I40.
