Course is good, very difficult track,But it’s over priced!!

Overall most people don’t have $60 for a weekday round of golf. As with most all the area public courses, the value for the price is out of whack!!

Won’t be back unless they get real with their prices.

First time playing this course. Played with my 9 year old son who is just starting. They were very accommodating and let us play as a twosome. Pointed out the beginner tee box for him. Had a blast! I think he like the hot dogs the best lol. Will come back to play a full 18 next time.

First time playing and I would definitely come back. Greens were in great condition and course was just the right amount of difficult. Very fun and scenic course.

Got a good deal on TeeOff. Course has good mix of holes and greens were decent but a little slow. Fairways have been punched and led to some tight lies. Would play this course more often if rates were lower.

It was my first time playing this course and I was very impressed with the amenities. I enjoy playing on fast greens and this course did not disappoint, although a few of the greens had some rough spots. There are multiple bunkers throughout the course which makes it a challenge when teeing off. The bunkers were well maintained and had high quality sand. I will definitely be returning to play this course in the future.

Fun layout. Tons of bunkers on this course. If you play it for the first time, get a yardage book as there are a few holes with some blind hazards from the tee. The bent grass greens were very soft and that's to expected this time of the year. I would definitely play this course again (ideally in the fall or winter when the greens firm up) and would recommend the course to anyone in the Charlotte area as it's only about a 30 min drive outside of Charlotte.

Too many houses. This course is in great shape but it’s overpriced and there are way too many houses. It just feels like the course doesn’t belong. You pass over the roads like 10 times. There are just better courses in the area to play.

Great course, I always have fun but it is not an $82.00 course. We played there because they have open tee times. They have open tee times because it is expensive compared to there comparable set.

Such a fun and challenging layout. Will continue to play here when I can.

I like this course, I only played 9 holes yesterday afternoon. Especially for a public course, there is a nice clubhouse and practice putting green. The course itself is in decent shape and the greens are pretty good. The practice range golf balls are the worst I have practically ever seen, some of the balls are so old that the dimples have warn off. The range is only good for warming up, but not for practice. There is a really nice practice green area but the green is in relatively bad shape.

Overall this is a great course with some of the best conditions in the CLT area. The main gripe with the course is the greens which usually deteriorate drastically as the summer progresses due to players not repairing pitch marks on the greens. The greens are EXTREMELY soft and sandy right now - likely related to recent aeration and maintenance they are doing to hopefully keep them in good shape longer this year. They are rolling true although a little shaggy right now as they let the grass come in. However this also means that your ball will dig in quite a bit and already I’ve seen tons of unfixed marks after 2 rounds within the last week. If anyone at CL is reading this maybe hand out repair tools at the pro shop or something to keep the course in a good place this summer. Otherwise get your rounds in now while the conditions somewhat justify the price…

Played on Saturday afternoon for first time in about a year - course overall is in great shape and one of the better courses in the area. A little pricey, but the cost to play 18 has definitely ticked up quite a bit over the past 2-3 years across CLT area. They must’ve aerated and sanded the greens within the past 1-2 weeks because they were sandy and still a little bumpy. A heads up regarding this process and/or discounted rates would be greatly appreciated versus finding out on #1… Majority of tee boxes were in good shape and all the fairways and bunkers were in great shape. Would recommend at this time of year before the pitch marks take over the greens as the summer progresses.

Played on Saturday and excited to get out as I normally LOVE Carolina Lakes.

$85 and they didn't make any mention of the greens being punched and sanded the Tuesday or so before. The greens were bumpy and shaggy.

I 100% get this process and know how important it is to turfgrass management and proper greens. Just a little heads up and a rate reduction would have been nice. Finding out on the 1st green is not really ideal and the pricing is nowhere close to fair at that condition.

This was the worst round of golf I have played in 5+ years (not talking about my score) Not only did it take 3+ hours to play 9 holes, the staff was very rude. We paid for 18 holes and course that wasn’t going to happen with a 6 hour pace of play. Their response “ what do you want us to do about it, we have 250 players on the course”. How about don’t over book?! Course is in awful condition as well. Overall -10 out of 10
