New and improved course.
Good par 3 course! Challenging and fun. Staff was very receptive. They have put in some good works on this course. Thank you and I will come back.
Great golf course
Very affordable. $19 for 18 with cart. Very nice par 3 course. Nice looking course. Pretty challenging
Exceptional Value + Practice Facilities
Highly recommend - I try to play every Knoxville visit.
Played Easter weekend ‘22 after a few years away from Knoxville, many trees and shrubbery have been cut since my last visit (2019), allows for much better views of the hills! New, elevated tee boxes + turf area in one corner of every tee box to allow play in most conditions (I played after a couple days of nonstop rain, no major issues). Turf section added to the driving range as well. Obviously grass is always better but in a climate like east TN, turf allows for practice and playing during and after rainfall.
Pros:
•Practice facilities - driving range, undulated putting green, pitching green + green side bunker, 3 practice holes for kids
•Pace of play - rarely experience slow play, very easy to play through if necessary.
•Layout + Difficulty - A great mix of hole lengths and challenges, many different shot types. Large greens + newly renovated and tee boxes allow for a great mixture of shot types.
•Greens - Large, natural undulated greens, allows for wide variety of pin placements + difficult long putts up and downhill. Generally played slow but it was a very wet day, rained all night before, I was surprised how well they played given the amount of rain.
•Value
Cons:
•Difficult to walk the course - Most walking done on cart paths, no great natural route from tee box to greens. Very hilly, you need to be active to walk, some holes could use a few stairs to assist even just getting from the cart path to the green.
•Clubhouse - Food + Bev options aren’t the best and the clubhouse is small
What Happened?
What happened to the wee course this used to be one of the best par 3s in the country. The course is in absolutely terrible shape. Have to tee off from mats and the greens are close to unputtable. Massive amount of divots and sand on green makes reading your putt impossible. So disappointed, used to be my favorite local course to go play a quick 18. Will not be returning.
Great Layout, But Slow Play
I love this place. The conditions are great and the challenge is good but not too difficult. Pace of play is an issue at times. People need to be aware and considerate before they decide to look for a lots ball for 15 minutes.
Cement pads on tees
I usually am very pleased to play this course. Great layout and tough greens. However, I was not pleased to have to tee off on mats attached to cement pads on all tee boxes. I felt like I was on range hitting balls. Could only hit from white tees. Not an option to play from any other tees. Plus, you can not hit ball very good on mat and ball will still go better than you hit it. I play a lot of different courses around Knoxville and I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN ANYWHERE ELSE. I will certainly make sure I ask before I play here again.

Fun in February
Really enjoyed the course and staff. Considering the time of year, the course was in good condition. Better than expected. Greens were very challenging.
Great Par 3 Course
Although it was winter, we thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of the course. We are from Texas so the terrain was a nice change. The weather was perfect and the staff were above and beyond freindly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend Williams Creek for all.
Great round
The staff do a great job taking care of the course and carts. Since its February. The greens were quick. I look forward to playing this course soon.
Fun and Challenging
Such a fun course hidden right outside Knoxville. Great layout and use of the natural rolling hills. The greens are in great shape with challenging breaks. A lot of changing elevations on a par 3 course, makes it an excellent place to work on your short game. Glad to live close by, so I camn visit the course often. Would recommend this course for beginners to low handicappers.
