Williams Creek Golf Course

Played as change of pace. Course is undergoing some pretty significant upgrades to tee boxes and nearby areas. Alternate tee locations were well marked. Rest of course was just fine, good shape. Always enjoy playing Williams Creek. Good change of pace from other courses.

ALL of the tee boxes were being redone at the same time and we had to either hit off a practice mat, or in the rough. This wouldn’t have been a huge problem, but I only used a club bigger than a pitching wedge twice all day.

Great little course. The only reason for some low rating is the fact that a lot of the course is being updated. Almost all tee boxes were temporary. When it’s done it is going to be great.

From out of town and paid $50 for my wife and I to play based upon what we saw on this app. Worst decision ever. We tee’d off early morning behind 3 groups of children in a golf camp (5 kids per group!!!) and we were given no heads up we would be playing behind them, it completely killed the pace; not just for us but everyone behind us.

The front 9 was horrendous, under construction without any disclosure from this app or any employee. They moved the tee boxes to where I was teeing off with a sand wedge majority of the time and you had to hit off of a mat from the tee box. It was a joke. I paid $50 to have a chipping competition with my wife. Avoid this place for months to come. I wish we quit early on to get a refund. If I knew you could images I would have. Absolute garbage.

My father was in town and we wanted to play a round. I was hesitant to play a par 3 course, but this one blew me away! Yes, the course is under construction, but we found it minimally intrusive, and it did not take away from our playing experience. The views are incredible, the grass is great, and the scenery is very serene and relaxing. Exactly what you'd like if you aren't too concerned about shooting your hottest round. I understand where others are coming from with their negative reviews, as a few tees are moved up and played from mats as they repair the course. Maybe for some higher level pros this would be an issue, but to us bogey golfers, it hardly even caught our attention. Once renovation is complete, this course will be mind blowing. We WILL BE BACK!!!

Most of the blue and white teeboxes were being redone. They even had the audacity to make you hit off loose mats on the one tee box that was open. Meaning most of the holes were under 70 yds. Half a half course. Might as well be putt putt. Never seen it in this shape. Wont be back for a while. Summer is not the time to completely redo a course, and if your going to, let people know in advance.

When the new tee boxes and the rest of the construction and cleanup is complete, it'll be a great Par 3 course. It's very fun to play and I have recommended it to several friends.

The course will be great when they are finished making improvements on the tees. I always look forward to playing here. The employees are always helpful and friendly.

When Williams Creek was built it was certainly better than many par 3 courses I had seen. The Fazio design was challenging and the greens were large, undulating and well maintained but the surrounding were rough and unforgiving while the tee boxes often almost bare due to heavy play. Right now the course is under MAJOR renovation and is, therefore, inconvenient and possibly frustrating due to trucks and equipment moving around. The experience and enjoyment today WILL NOT COMPARE to what it will be when finished. I don’t know what the budget is for this upgrade but it has to be HUGE! The rough surroundings are being transformed into one of the elite and premier par 3s ANYWHERE!!. Large, flat, first class tee boxes (4 per hole), room to recover from a bad shot, and large, fast, undulating greens. JUST WAIT, the changes will blow your mind. I can’t wait to play the finished product.

I reserved a tee time online, and had paid for the round in advance. When I arrived at the golf course the clubhouse was locked and empty and the course appeared to be closed.

This is a fun little par 3 course. Several tee boxes require that you hit off of mats. Two temporary tee boxes on the back nine really shortened the length of the holes.

We arrived to rain. We were given a phone number to Golfnow to cancel, but that said to go to this website. I did not and still do not see a way to do that on this site. We did not play in the rain. We love Williams Creek, but this system is not user friendly.

I've always enjoyed playing here for short- game practice, but the course has always been a little rough. They are in the process of making major improvements, including new, larger tee boxes, tree and undergrowth clearing , etc.

Great course to hear the birds, enjoy the green woods and a few mountain sightings.
