The Cypress Course at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac is named after the mature trees that line the fairways and frame the views from the elevated tees. The course measures 7,043 yards and features undulating greens that are a challenge too with carefully shaped contours that are subtle but tricky. It is a golf course that requires not only distance, but also accuracy and a good course management.

Great Course
Great Shape
I enjoy playing at this course
Good condition
Have being playing this course for a few years and I have seen it in better condition, but considering the amount of construction and the time of year, (when most courses start their maintenance) it was in excellent condition. Greens were recently fertilized and sanded and they were rolling extremely fast for how they looked. Took a while to get the speed right. The staff were great from the parking lot to the pro shop, nice way to start.
Friendly staffs
I love whenI just parked my car and they have the golf cart right there for me. All staffs are friendly course are good condition. Definitely come back again.
Loved it
Everything was really nice, can’t say that for too many other courses so will definitely be back!
Lot of weeds on the greens, fairways are ok and tees are terrible
Tee boxes and sand traps
Course is in great shape with the exception of the tee box’s and sand traps; tee boxes are rough and spotty to bare. Sand traps lack consistency and are full of rocks. The greens are in fantastic shape.

The course is in good shape and it looks like they are working on the course to make it better than it is right now.
The bunkers can use more sand.
I like this golf course and friendliness of the staff.
Needs important renovations
The course is in terrible shape (greens are mostly ok) and needs some serious work to get it back to a decent level. Cart paths are totally destroyed. Too bad aa it is a good design (excluding hole #1 which should be converted to a short par 4 to avoid having to drive over the homes to cut the corner). Staff are really friendly and welcoming.
Must compliment the staff for finding my GPS on the golf cart I used which allowed me to recover if a few days later.
In need of renovations
Interesting layout with some challenging holes (Cypress), greens are in fair shape but the fairways, tees and cart paths are in need of some serious renovations. Staff at arrival in the parking lot are great and helpful. It is sad has this course is reasonably priced and would have lots of potential.
