About
Wentworth Golf Club is routed through a scenic and varied landscape of woods and wetlands. At 6,459 yards, the golf course is relatively short but it offers a demanding, target-style layout. The course has narrow fairways and small greens that run fast. The front nine is routed through towering stands of cypress trees, pines, and mature oaks while the back nine has a more links-style layout that will test your shot-making skills. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the far more prominent features of the course are the massive bunkers that lurk beside the fairways and greens, ready to swallow even slightly errant shots. Careful strategy is required throughout the course in order to avoid losing balls. In addition to the challenging layout, Wentworth G.C. boasts superb conditions that are considered some of the area's best.

Tight track, difficult greens
The course used to be better cared for! A nice layout but poorly maintained! Tee blocks are brutal

Great Course
Tee boxes are rough. Greens are great. Fairways average. The course is a true test. Fabulous layout.

not good
This could be a beautiful track, and it was some years back.
I have no idea what has been happening, the tee boxes are terrible, they had been, this time, it looks like they are going to re-do then, as most of then, you could not use.
They have temporary tee boxes,
Look I hope they are actually doing something to improve the course, as it could be a very very nice track.
we have had lots of rain, so I would speculate and say, that water must have been the reason.
we would try in another 2 years, and check it out, at the moment I don't recommend trying to play this course, or at least the way it was when we play it, it was terrible.
but again, they might be working on improving it, so lets hope that is the case.

Course condition
Day we played tee boxes we’re closed & moved onto area’s not designed to be tee boxes
Course was wet, some sand traps had standing water Other than the above, course was in great shape will be back (hopefully tee boxes will be open)

Course was in nasty shape, I don’t think we teed off on any real tee boxes.

Interesting Course
Greens were in very good condituon. Several holes will challenge control of distance and/or direction. A few narrow fairways and unusual variations in terrain. All tee boxes were closed for repairs without notice. No GPS in carts, so bring your range finder. For me, it's close to home and I got a good price through Golf Now. I will play this course again.

A Few Problems
I guess the teeboxes were being rebuilt, so they couldn't be used. Most of the fairways were in good shape, but 5 or 6 were a mess from overwatering. Approaches to the greens were frequently muddy, and many of the sandtraps were hard packed or holding water from overwatering. I assume it was overwatering since we haven't had any rain in the past 4 days. Kind of a shame, because the course is usually in great shape.

Always a test
First time coming back here since they are under new ownership, the tee boxes could use some work on a few holes but the fairways weren't bad and the Greens are still fast and challenging. The 1st 4 holes are designed to break your spirit, especially the 2nd hole with a green that is pitched like a cruel carnival game. Going back for sure but be ready to get frustrated in a couple of spots if you don't leave yourself in a good spot for your 2nd or 3rd shot..

This course layout is just way too quirky
Fees were over priced for the conditions. Course has really odd set up on a number of holes. Greens were good. Fairways and tee boxes not so much. Neat clubhouse and staff was very nice. One big thing....houses are ON TOP of the course and the residents are absolute jerks. Million dollar homes but felt cheesy. Won't go back with all the other options nearby. The other Ace company courses, Crescent Oaks and Plantation Palms, are far better.
