About
Opened in 1922, Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the Tampa Bay area. In fact, it's the only 18-hole golf course in Florida that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's the centerpiece of the Temple Terrace community and it's much loved by locals. At 6,443 yards from the back tees, the golf course is short by modern standards but what it lacks in length it makes up for in other challenges. The layout has a traditional design with small greens and tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy. Several strategically positioned bunkers also come into play along the greens. There are some tight spots and a fair amount of tricky holes, but overall Temple Terrace is player friendly enough for all skill levels.

Great time
Great course. Love the layout. Great fairways . Friendly staff . Will be back . A fun time .
Greens and tee boxes
The tee boxes were a bit of a work in progress. Issue was that the greens were punched about 10 days ago. This was not mentioned and not growing back in well. Maybe they should have sanded them?
Greens
Aeration of greens wasn’t noted, they were punched and very sandy.
Great day
Course was in nice shape for how dry it has been out, only down fall was they had just aerated the greens. Pace was great and stuff was friendly. We did not see the cart girl, but we did tee off around 3pm.
Avoid the course for a few weeks
Paid full price for very poor conditions. They just recently aerated the tee box/greens, but the Pro failed to mention that part to me or even offer a discount for the round. At the turn it took someone 15 minutes to ring up a hotdog & drink. Overall not the greatest of experiences

They just aired the tee box and the greens, but they did a good job. It affected the putts some.

Fun day
Course was in good shape but the greens were recently punched and sanded. Had lunch after and it was delicious. Definitely will return
Poor conditions
Not sure why these reviews were good. Greens were in awful shape and they charged full price during maintenance, didn’t bother mentioning it when I was paying for the round.
Eh - Not quite the same as when we lived in TT
Don't know this is a course that is worth $70 a round. Since it winds through neighborhoods/houses, they should caution residents more about allowing their kids to play on the course when golfers are out.
