About
Opened in 1922, Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the Tampa Bay area. In fact, it's the only 18-hole golf course in Florida that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's the centerpiece of the Temple Terrace community and it's much loved by locals. At 6,443 yards from the back tees, the golf course is short by modern standards but what it lacks in length it makes up for in other challenges. The layout has a traditional design with small greens and tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy. Several strategically positioned bunkers also come into play along the greens. There are some tight spots and a fair amount of tricky holes, but overall Temple Terrace is player friendly enough for all skill levels.

Beware aerated greens
I wouldn't recommend the course for at least a month as they have aerated the greens. I wasn't told about the green conditions and there wasn't any sand on the greens.
It was not worth the money paid to play the course.
My advice is to stay away for at least a month. Once the greens are in shape, I'll be back.
Just not in the best shape.
Staff was not the most friendliest. Pro shop guys were cool but club house staff not so much. Greens were a little punched. Course I’m okay shape overall. Needs some attention to on course bathrooms and cleanliness.
Love the course
The course and the greens were in good conduction. The pace of play was great.

Greens and tee boxes
The tee boxes were a bit of a work in progress. Issue was that the greens were punched about 10 days ago. This was not mentioned and not growing back in well. Maybe they should have sanded them?
Greens
Aeration of greens wasn’t noted, they were punched and very sandy.
Great day
Course was in nice shape for how dry it has been out, only down fall was they had just aerated the greens. Pace was great and stuff was friendly. We did not see the cart girl, but we did tee off around 3pm.
Avoid the course for a few weeks
Paid full price for very poor conditions. They just recently aerated the tee box/greens, but the Pro failed to mention that part to me or even offer a discount for the round. At the turn it took someone 15 minutes to ring up a hotdog & drink. Overall not the greatest of experiences

Nice course
They just aired the tee box and the greens, but they did a good job. It affected the putts some.
