About
Opened in 1922, Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the Tampa Bay area. In fact, it's the only 18-hole golf course in Florida that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's the centerpiece of the Temple Terrace community and it's much loved by locals. At 6,443 yards from the back tees, the golf course is short by modern standards but what it lacks in length it makes up for in other challenges. The layout has a traditional design with small greens and tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy. Several strategically positioned bunkers also come into play along the greens. There are some tight spots and a fair amount of tricky holes, but overall Temple Terrace is player friendly enough for all skill levels.

Great course well maintained
Course has great drainage and is in excellent condition. Very cool setting inside of a residential area.
Well kept course!
First pull up and greeted by Jeff with a cart. Great guy! First time playing here and gave me the whole rundown of the course. Really well kept course!

Very nicely maintained course, excellent staff. The gentleman in the prison was very helpful. And specifically Jeff the Cart Guy was extremely friendly. He approached my car with a cart for me when I arrived, and was ready to take my cart back to the barn when I finished playing. I have never experienced such above and beyond service from a golf course, and definitely will be coming back.

Great conditions, excellent greens.. had a really nice round. Wide open fairways and nice bar area as well. Cart girls are always out here

Terrible experience
Would NOT recommend to play this course, especially at the price!
course was in terrible condition. Greens were bad. Surface was bumpy and had multiple types of grass growing.
Couldnt identify fairways.
Paid for 18. Only wanted to play 9. I wish there was a way to get my money back!
course should not have the “Country Club” name attached to it!

Upper mid tier Tampa golf
First time playing here and had a great time. One of the staff named Jeff met me at my car as soon as I arrived and he took the time to go over the course conditions and answered any questions I had. Super nice dude. Course was in good shape and I enjoyed the layout. Greens had been punched recently which made for tough and fast greens and some of the bunkers were a bit hard. But besides that overall this is good Florida golf. We had a late tee time and Jeff even stayed late to let us finish the entire round. Again, dude seems like genuinely a great guy. Would definitely recommend playing here. Been playing golf all around Tampa the past 4 yrs and I put this upper mid tier.
