1st Time Playing Aberdelghy
1st time playing Aberdelghy and I must say we had a great experience, friendly staff and made to feel welcome.
Given the recent rainfall we were impressed by the condition of the course, albeit the first 3 holes were a bit wet under foot, but after this the course was in great condition.
Great course for all levels of experience, some testing holes indeed. I imagine in the summer months when all the leaves are on the trees it looks great.
Will definitely be booking again.
Awful Golf course
Absolutely despise this golf club, from here onwards. Went on Tuesday 22/2/23 for my first time playing on this specific course. Staff were abruptly rude and dismissive. Other members of the club were also unwelcoming, emphasising the nature of this club. The first hole had poor playing conditions with the ball almost every shot you hit, inevitably ending up in some sort of divot/pot hole. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good considering the weather over last few weeks
Good Course
Course is very cheap. The course is a mixed bag, some lovely holes and some strangely laid out holes. 13-17 can be a bit confusing. Greens are all in very good shape for this time of year and considering the cost of play. Fairways are very wet and conditions under foot are very soft, but to be expected this time of year.
Winter golf
Nice course greens where fast even after all the rain we had just a few leaves lying around if you went just of fairway u would lose a ball very easily but to expected at this time of year . Other than that perfect
Great condition for the time of year
Even after a weekend of heavy rain the course was surprisingly dry underfoot.
Greens are in good condition and the course is a nice balance of challenge.
Great course, incredible value
This course hasn’t got much off course amenities but the course is good and very good value for money
Great intermediate course
In my opinion the course is a good balance of challenging without being completely outplayable. It is quite hilly so can get a bit long towards the last few holes, but buggies and trolleys are available.

A good course kept in good condition considering the difficult conditions with heat and sun.
Slight disappointment with booking however. When I arrived to check in I was informed that instead of the two ball I had booked that we would be playing a four ball as ‘that’s how golfnow works.’ Having booked through golf now on numerous I had never experienced that before. The other two people in the football, like ourselves were unaware they were in a four ball. We were able to play two two balls due to quick play but disappointing not to be informed before arrival.
