Frog Hollow Golf Club
About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Still a gem
The best part was the starter. He took several groups of ones twos and made 4somes
Best part the groups at 11 were all spread out and you actually felt like you were the only group out there. It was a great plan and what a day
Thx to the starter it was grand day in the course
Only con
Greens were slow but very smooth.
Very good time with our friendd
The location was perfect to meet our friends who live in southern Delaware. It is about 1 1/2 hours drive for them and about one hour from us in Havre de Grace. We liked the course and enjoyed the challenging greens
Super Course
Excellent layout, course.was well maintained. Fair but challenging. Highly recommend this course
Great Course, Great Price
Played there with some friends for the first time and will certainly be back. Not many people out since it was pretty overcast but had some challenging pin placements, and some fun par 3’s to play.
Frog is Hopping Again
Course conditions are much improved from a few years back when the lighting incident burned up portions of a few holes. Greens are good, fairways are good enough. It's a nice course despite a few holes surrounded by homes.
Frog Hollow
Course in nice shape. Moderate difficulty. They do need someone out on the course to keep pace moving.
Hidden Gem
Absolutely a hidden gem of a golf course. Tee to green was excellent. In better condition than courses charging 3 times as much.
Very pleased
I’m your average hack golfer just like most of you. The course was in great shape. Greens were fast and they have a lot of undulation to them which makes for a somewhat tough but fun round. First time seeing a beverage cart out this year during the week, so A+ plus for that. Paid $36 a man with the hot deal offer. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and play again. Honestly I think it’s in a little better shape then Back Creek, for now. We’ll see what this summer brings.
Great lay out. Needs some tlc.
Solid lay out. Greens in really good shape, fairways generally good too . I’d say 12 holes are in very good shape, maybe 3 need some TLC, and 3 are just in rough shape. Some really nice designed holes, some very unique. For the price, I’ll play there again. With prices skyrocketing everywhere else, this is a great choice for playing without having to take out a home equity loan.

Greens are just ok
Players need to take better care of there divots during winter play. We have some seriously lazy golfers.
