Frog Hollow Golf Club

Like this course - it was in very good condition especially considering it is still April. Greens are large with lots of undulations - very challenging and a lot of fun trying to “read” your putts. Only complaint is that there was no course marshal. We were a 2-some and caught up to a foursome on the par 3 third hole. They didn’t let us play thru. The 2 holes in front of them were empty. One guy viewed his putt from 3 different angles before putting. Another guy used his rangefinder from the fringe of the green - I’m not making this up. My contention is golfers should be required to obtain a golf etiquette card - very few golfers today demonstrate good golf etiquette - little things like repairing ball marks on greens, replacing divots AND allowing faster players to play through!!

Overall a very good experience. Course is challenging with good conditions, relatively quick and rolling greens. Only real issue is pace of play. Played it a few times and our group seemed to wait at least 5 mins on every hole, and most shots. Always pretty crowded.

Course in good shape ,greens fast/slow. Need cutting as growing season is upon us. This will improve variable and make greens fast & true. Would really appreciate some real sand in traps though.

Course was excellent made more difficult with the wind.

First time player. Had trouble finding the bag drop. No signs. Is down one level and concealed behind the clubhouse. Reservation was ok but again no signs to chrck-in counter. Most doors were locked. Course layout ok, and greens ok. Rough terrain was very bumpy. Gas carts ran well.

Had 11:10 tee time went through front nine in about 1:45 minutes coasting along hit the 12 hole back up 3 groups then us play the 12th we were gonna wait for 2 hrs to play jump ahead to the 17th play that and the 18 th was having a good round this is why I stopped playing on weekends it’s was one group holding everyone up on the weekends it’s is what it is but on Monday just doesn’t make any sense to me . Learning to play golf should be on the range not on the course been coming here for years Shame course was in great shape

Got there late, my wife has ms had to take care of her . My bubbly was able to move the tee time up to 3:00 . I got to the course and one of pro shop staff drove me out to 6 th hole . Played up to 16 then he had to leave . Asked cart shop if I could play first 5 I missed. They said okay . Staff was friendly and accommodating. Like the course , had a good time , green were fast!!! What a challenge!!! Will be back . Thank you 🙏 staff at frog hollow

This course will eat you up on the greens in a heartbeat. It is a tribute to the condition as well as design.

The course continues to be a great value and is in very good shape for this time of year. The greens were very nice as well.

The staff leaves is not very friendly and continues to leave a lot to be desired.

Tl;dr - best bang for you buck course in the area and a great course period. Enough challenges to keep you thinking and approachable in difficultly and cultural temperament for the average weekend warrior (me).

I have played Frog Hollow about six times over the past year. The mid week rates on GolfNow are the best in the area, including the local municipal courses. For its price, the value is top-notch. This past round, it was apparent how much work had been done over the past month on the fairways and greens. The greens were even and fast, challenging without imperfections. The fairways were much improved from over the winter, as you would expect after the rain, and what I can only assume is some watering, the fairways were soft and forgiving, for those who may dig a little deeper on miss hits. The clientele in the mid morning teetimes are generally very friendly, and excepting of players, who may play slower than average. This will not be the last time I play at Frog Hollow this month.

No Ports potties on course. No water available to refill bottles, no ball washer availablity.

Course is in very nice shape and everything went well from check-in to our gathering after our round in the bar. Greens were fast, fairways nice and plenty of soft sand in the bunkers this year.

The website talks about their fantastic bar and pub, but they failed to mention that they are closed on Monday. Customer service inside the clubhouse very lacking. The range and golf cart assistant was very professional.

To be called a “clubhouse” , yet failing to provide even ice for a customers personal cooler even after the request shows lack of customer service and care .

“Customer Service “ would be stretching the truth at this facility.
