About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

New Years Eve 2022
Cart path only always makes for a long day. Fog made seeing past 100 yards tough. Luckily we have played here dozens of times. Good luck to those that haven’t.
In overall good shape. Some aeration holes are visible, but remember, it’s winter.
4 stars for the course, the 5th star for the hot deal!!
Great Condition & Price
I don’t have a “home course”, but if I did it would be Frog Hollow. .
Got a great midweek deal through GolfNow.
Course was in great condition for end of December in the MidAtlantic. Tees, fairways, and greens were all in good condition. Course staff is great. Starter did a great job managing a delayed start due to frost, but our 10:20 went out right on time. Pros are very approachable. Range is competitively priced for the area.

Great price for December golf!! Course only had a few bad spots on a green or two. Friendly staff because the bald guy wasn’t working!!!!!
Sand traps and Price
Sand traps have lots of rocks in them and limited sand. The course is also over priced. The years weekend rate was $70 and is not in as good of shape as Odessa which has a weekend rate of $54.
Nice course
Course was In real good shape. Greens pretty true. Starter was nice. Bald Guy in pro shop was miserable!!!
The course itself is great but the guy checking you in at the clubhouse is very unfriendly and has no personality.
Fall Golf at the Frog!!
The Frog is in great shape for the fall and they finally got great fees for the fall also. The course is cut and the greens are good for just being treated. Pace of playing is great also!!
poor mgmt
Front 9 was closed. Back 9 was open but for what?? Greens aerated and in really rough shape. Sanded 2 times and no watering in 1st sanding. Ridiculous. Should have just closed course.

Course under repair
Half the course was closed only the back nine open. Club could not handle the volume with only 9 holes open therefore the pace of play was atrocious. Clearly my golf now reservation was for 18 holes but quit after 8 completed. Horrible day

Nice course
Nice course and we enjoyed it. They were aerating the greens so we had the play the front 9 twice. Some of the greens had some bare areas but most were in good condition and were a good speed. My son is a new golfer. Some of the holes were close to the tee boxes and were within range of a slice, etc. He hit a couple shots in back yards. Anyone fighting a slice beware. I like the course and will paly it again.

Good golf for the price
Course was in good shape. Cart path only because of rain and drizzle. I liked the relaxed staff and had a great experience. Most likely will golf here again.
