About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Course shows improvement
It is apparent that they are working to improve Frog Hollow in several respects. The greens are is nice condition, especially for winter. They are working to improve the sand traps and have revamped many of them. Overall, the course is in very good condition. One criticism is that they need more senior and women’s tees.

$20 is $20
I enjoy playing here. The grass is probably my only complaint, even during the regular season. The food is good. Value for the money is excellent when you're paying $20 before season. I wouldn't rate it that high for normal fares (~$60).

Looking good for soring
Played this week with a painful foursome without golf etiquette
They had 4 groups backed up by the 5th hole
Jumped in front and got thru and saved two hours easy
Best part was seeing fresh sand piles in the traps
The crew is working hard to keep the course up
As always the staff was on target at the shop and starter

Still worth the ride
Played several times last year and this year looks like it’ll be better.
The greens keeper has placed mats out on several tees so that the boxes are primo come spring
Fabulous tee box maintenance plan.
One thing noticed is that it appears the folks before my play didn’t bring a divot repair tool.
No one is impressed to see how lucky you got with a wedge shot so please don’t leave your divot as a trophy.

Great variety of holes.
Hour drive for me and I’d don’t it again next weekend. Love the variety of holes, no cookie cutters and plenty of undulation. Agree Back nine is longer and more difficult so go low on the front for a good day. Back tees play longer than the 6800 on the card so beware. Priced perfectly at $50. Always enjoy my outings at Frog Hollow. I will be back

New Years Eve 2022
Cart path only always makes for a long day. Fog made seeing past 100 yards tough. Luckily we have played here dozens of times. Good luck to those that haven’t.
In overall good shape. Some aeration holes are visible, but remember, it’s winter.
4 stars for the course, the 5th star for the hot deal!!
Great Condition & Price
I don’t have a “home course”, but if I did it would be Frog Hollow. .
Got a great midweek deal through GolfNow.
Course was in great condition for end of December in the MidAtlantic. Tees, fairways, and greens were all in good condition. Course staff is great. Starter did a great job managing a delayed start due to frost, but our 10:20 went out right on time. Pros are very approachable. Range is competitively priced for the area.
