About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Great Value
Got a $30 hot deal and it was well worth it. I enjoy links style golf and appreciated the layout. Lots of negative write ups on the bunkers and yes they are more like hard packed dirt. Considering how hot the summer was I wasn't expecting anything special. But the fairways were in very good shape and the 3 inch rough was heavy. Excellent rolling greens. If you miss a putt it’s your fault.
It’s 18 holes
Course is in so-so condition, but I suppose 18 holes for $60 isn’t the worst value.
First time playing here and I was pleasantly surprised. The sand traps were terrible and a few bald patches in the fairways but, the tee boxes were in good shape, the greens were great, and it’s a nice layout.
Experience at the 19th hole
Experience at the 19th hole, got to the 19th hole order drinks everything‘s going well for some reason our waitress quit in the middle of our shift. Food took a little while longer than it should have but the young lady that was working handles it amazingly and took care of everything she needed to take care of. I wish I knew her name because she deserves to be recognized for how she handled the situation.

Not now
Wait about a month until the greens are done its
Horrible condition as of yesterday bunkers have no sand in them hard as rock sucks tee boxes are terrible. 20 bucks is it worth right now.

Good value for money
Enjoyed playing the course. Best thing was the lack of crowding and pace of play. Greens and fairways in good shape. As others have said, bunkers need some work. Some tees and areas around greens overly wet. Difficult to locate balls in rough due to mounds and clover. Not overly long, so good for us higher handicappers. Price seemed very reasonable for a weekend.

FROG HOLLOW 8-23-2022
Well weather was good, but NO 90*, that make it difficult to locate your ball, as they have large hills running along side of fairways.
I would say that the Fairways were in GREAT Condition.
Greens were veri-cut, but we excellent condition.
Sand Bunkers were Awful, no playing in them, rocks and weeds.
Tee Boxes were good to poor.
Overall I would play it again.
Czr paths only
Long day track was wet greens ok they rolled true. Car paths only sucks over all it was a long day had a good time will play again.
Not reasonable or helpful
I only got through 2 holes before the the sky opened up and it started rain so hard you could barely see. I went back to the clubhouse and asked for a rain check and was refused because it was twilight. Staff did not offer any help at all.

Always a pleasure
We enjoy playing at Frog Hollow whenever we get a chance. The bunkers are in rough shape but we were forewarned as they will soon be re-worked. Some of the tee boxes could also use some work but fair otherwise. We like the l course layout and the staff is always very accommodating. The dollar value is also exceptional. One of our favorite Delaware courses.
Needs ranger
Teed off a little after noon. Didn't catch anyone until about 7th hole. Still moved pretty good. 1 hour for front nine. Whole different story on back. As a single I tried to find an opening, but this was like a slow moving freight train! Needless to say about 2 1/2 hours on the back. Course in pretty good shape. Just play the right tees. Very nice bar!
