The course is great right now
I thought aeration of the greens and fairways mid season was disappointing. But I was wrong, the fairways are in great shape. The green would be too but there people that play there that don’t fix their ball mark. I love the course and it one of my favorites in the area. It’s half the price of chariot and close to the same challenge
Tee time
Latest tee time should be five P.M. because my Tee time was at six P.M. and I only got through 12 holes.
Awesome course
Great course from the tee to the green and the staff was great and very professional. The golf now rate made this experience even better and more affordable. Highly recommend
Great course
Course is one of the best in this regional area! Course was in very good shape. Only negative was there wasn’t any water in the dispensers on the course.
Awesome.
Loved it. Great course and would gladly play again, staff was great.
For the $ - Chariot Run is the answer
I’ve been lucky enough to travel a decent amount around the US playing golf most places that visit, and I must unfortunately say that for this place to charge championship rates, it doesn’t present as such. The layout is decent, but when you pay $100+ to play an around of golf, you don’t expect the grounds crew to hold up your pace of play. We’re talking on probably a dozen holes we had interaction with mowers blazing up and down the rough, either not stopping or pulling up right by the tee box and sometimes not even cutting off their engines. The worst was a few times we had grounds crew in greenside bunker doing laps like it was the Indy 500 with the rake tractor, not even trying to be cognizant of paying customers wanting to hit. Legitimately am bewildered that you charge $100 and then present like a municipal course with the grounds crew. Watching mowers start rolling out after 8am, right when prime tee rates are going off is insane. Daylight is at 5am, maybe start then? Also, the driving range being closed for mowing at the same time when your tee sheet is starting up is an interesting sales strategy too. Start earlier. Do better. Or charge less. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to explore playing chariot run for the same money. Greens at chariot vs the greens at champions are night and day. I won’t be back to either of the fuzzy courses again. Mundane layout and entitled rates.
Don’t play it right now!
Wrong time to play it. Usually top notch course that I love to play but back closed for fairway aeration so had to play front twice. Greens still showing aeration. Front fairways still recovering from aeration. Kudos for cutting $15 off but not worth it right now. Booked on golfnow with no aeration warning or wouldn’t have went. Hope to go back later in summer.
First time visitor
Loved the course, challenging layout. Want to play again after seeing course for first time. Greens were perfect, bunkers were a little wet from rain but played true. Carts with GPS very nice. Beautiful clubhouse,.
First time playing Champions Pointe
Late March round in soggy conditions with 15-25mph winds. Cart path only conditions.
Great course with beautiful challenging holes. I will be back when the course gets into prime conditions.
Winter golf
Course is very nice and challenging. Nothing was really grown in because of it being late winter but it was still well maintained. Got a great deal on it from Golfnow
Winter golf
Winter conditions and it was wet so pace was good. Course was in good off-season shape. No bar or anything open. Pretty standard
