Great place to play. Well manicured
Being a mandatory social member, and finding golf now priced at far less, makes me want to remove my social dues and play with golf now. I think it a social membership rate slightly below gif now green fee would get more residents playing. More revenue too
Well maintained course, fun to play
A great deal to be found on TeeOff, as these greens are some of the most immaculately kept in the region. Not too narrow, but adequately punishable for missing the fairway. Overall, not the most memorable course around in design or aesthetic, but certainly very enjoyable still, though be prepared for some really tough putts at times.
New to golf now
Previous private course just opened to golf now. Very nice course. Fairways and greens were awesome. Definitely recommended.
Great Course
Historically a private course, opened to the public to solicit more membership, a great course to play. Front 9 a tad narrow, most holes don't have water in play. Greens a tad slower than expected. Staff was fantastic, accommodating and most importantly, welcoming.
Not sure the reason, but the course was entirely restricted to carts in rough areas only. But they gave each cart a guide on how to navigate the rough on each hole.
Lastly, a cost of the round was higher than most courses in the general vicinity. That will probably keep me away unless I can get a tee time with a "hot deal." Save for that, I definitely recommend. It was awesome playing a course for the very first time.
It a shame as a social member I pay less with this app
Like the course, challenging play, fun. Fix the social membership play costs. Just wrong.
Worth the drive and value
Staff is friendly and treat you great, even for non-members. The course layout is awesome and is in great conditions. It’s definitely worth the drive from Tampa.
Good trimmer for the money.
Nice course fun layout. Course is in very good condition. Greens are very fast.
Amazing Course
My 2nd time playing Glenlakes.Amazing course .Challenging yet fair.Wonderful staff in Proshop.Thinking about membership.Thanks so much for making my tee times so enjoyable.
A surprise treat
Played Glen Lakes today on a whim. Had a 2:13 but we were running late. Called the shop and the pro was great, said take your time, it’s pretty open. We didn’t see a soul…3 hours tops. Very playable, good shape, greens weren’t speedy but we’re true. A good value at $50.
Must Play
The layout and course conditions are what make this a must play. Nice northern feeling to the layout and in great shape on course. The clubhouse was closed for the most part, apparently under renovation. Staff was extra friendly.
