Dutchman’s Pipe Golf Club
About
Originally opened as the Eagle Course at President Country Club and Banyan Cay Resort & Golf, Dutchman’s Pipe Golf Club was renovated by Nicklaus design in 2017. The fairways are lined with coquina and pampas grass and there are also water hazards and sand bunkers coming into play throughout. The layout offers interesting par 3s that offer particularly nice scenery and a mix of par 4s that range from having ample room to being very tight and requiring more careful course management. The golf course opens with a risk-reward opportunity, a dogleg-right par 5 with a strategically placed lake.

Great course in very good condition.
I was impressed of the speed of the greens at the Eagle course. They ran with a very good speed. Greens had some bigger slopes too so that you had to be aware of the speed of your putts. Staff at the club was very friendly and the whole site was clean and excellent.
Great course
The outside staff are very courteous and friendly.
Very beautiful, easy enough
I forgot my sunglasses in the cart. Next day nobody found them.
really great, challenging greens
Great course for the $55 that I paid thru Golfnow, but not sure I would have enjoyed paying the $80 or so that was the actual rate.
Great course to play. Can't beat the value or the layout
Highly recommended. Good challenge from the back tees. Very friendly from the front tees. Course in great shape all for less than $50 on line.
Fun, Challenging Course
$58 to play this quality of course in December is well-worth the the money. Course is always in good shape and has some very difficult holes, whether it be tee shots requiring accuracy or well-protected greens. It's tough, but not unfair.
Fun course to play.
Fun but very slow play
Due to playing on Black Friday - the play was extremely slow - where two groups of players waiting on others to tee off. No rangers in sight to control it. Otherwise a nice course, greens fast that day.
Very Nice Trek
Nice Course, friendly staff and enjoyable outing. Recommend this course to all golfers.
A great course with great features
Patriot is one of the best course in palm beach area ,
Course was OK - Most Greens were good .
Course was ok , staff was cordial but had to ask where everything was.Greens were good,a few were spotty, overall maintenance was just ok.Some fairways etc. were rough, sparse grass of bare areas. Layout was fairly easy, quite short. approx.6100yds. from the tips.Great for my wife.
Club house amenities were very good and staff there very friendly and helpful.drinks and sandwiches very good.
Well maintained, fun design.
Played at a rate of 4 1/2 hours, pace was good. Bunkers were a bit too firm.
nice track close to airport
nice track not too tough maintained well.close to airport to play on way in or way out .No hidden views u see what u get no marsh lands or tough carrys. enjoyable to play.
water, bunkers & big trees
good practice area. two golf courses. pace of play was good. carts have sattilite system, that is very nice. dining room very nice. food is vert good, service good..
Great features and in wonderful shape.
The staff were extremely helpful and the amenities on the course were outstanding.
This course has great features
great challenge to play the Eagle , really not easy putting, good luck
Great track!
I found this course 7 months ago and I've lived in west palm for 13 years...this is the only place I like to play due to the price and value you're paying. Well maintained and a nice track to run around every weekend. We didn't see anyone on the course until we were on hole 14....just the way I like it!
a playable old style layout. Not too long. Great for the average player.
The greens are quite slow with a lot of grain. Several have some odd grass mixed in. With a little TLC could be a lot better. You cannot grow grass in November ! There is a redeveloment plan proposed for hotel and condos. It looks like they are waiting for a decision. The staff needs a little polish and enthusiam. Ok for a $25-$30 green fee, no more.
OK course for the money
Not bad, not great, if you want great, dig a little deeper in your pocket and play the Eagles course next to this one. The greens here are decent, crab grass in many areas and on tee boxes (not on greens) , but what the heck, this course is being eliminated after the winter season, in May, and some type of commercial development is being built in it's place. It's a short course but has some challenging holes.
Fun course to grow on!
Great course, lots of challenging lies to learn from! I also really liked the approach GPS system mounted in the cart; it was really well integreated. It might have been the holiday weekend, but I think they could have had a friendlier staff. otherwise, absolutely enjoyed the course and look forward to playing agian.
This review was misplaced. I reviewed the Patriot Course and it was added to the Eagle reviews by mistake
