Dutchman’s Pipe Golf Club
About
Originally opened as the Eagle Course at President Country Club and Banyan Cay Resort & Golf, Dutchman’s Pipe Golf Club was renovated by Nicklaus design in 2017. The fairways are lined with coquina and pampas grass and there are also water hazards and sand bunkers coming into play throughout. The layout offers interesting par 3s that offer particularly nice scenery and a mix of par 4s that range from having ample room to being very tight and requiring more careful course management. The golf course opens with a risk-reward opportunity, a dogleg-right par 5 with a strategically placed lake.

very typical Florida course
course was in poor maintenance condition. there was water runoffs in some bunkers when apparently ther was no rain for over a week. and bunkers were not raked except perhaps by the people ahead if i was lucky enough to land in that area. greens were not cut . all in all it was ok.....though not in a hurry back. Very challenging design and undulating greens
This a monster of a course, especially when the wind blows. It is a serious test of golf, especially for the average golfer who struggles to break 90. Several par 3s are almost unplayable depending where the hole is cut that day. Some of the greens have so much slope that short putts that miss the hole may result in a 10-15 footer coming back. Impossible to get up & down if the pins are in certain areas. However, the visual intimidation is fun and you need to bring your A game to this track. If you don't, well, enjoy their superb menu in the clubhouse after the round. This course will grow on you after several rounds.
Sand strategically placed for the average golfer
Course in decent shape for this time of the year. 31/4 hour round for twosome
Wonderful Experience
Great Place....two courses....the older much more challeging....newer course beautiful....staff was above and beyond
will go back again
Fun yet challenging- Patriot Course
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. Course was great. As one of the first ones to tee off, we played 18 holes in 3 hrs 15 min. The foursome in front of us (who are members) cordially allowed us to go ahead of them (were a twosome). That doesn't happen very often anymore! Looking forward to playing there again.
Play it before it's gone.
The patriot course was fun and challenging--got to use all the clubs in the bag.
Wide open course with minimum chance of ball loss.
Very nice course. Nicely maintained. I would definitely play this course again. Perfect for a fun golfer. Just enough challenge to help improve your game.
A Go to course...
Played the Patriot course and absolutely loved it. It's very interesting on every tee with all these bunkers which are manageable yet intrigues strategies off the tee. Great surroundings, friendly staff, no waiting time between holes. Greens are average but not a negative. A go to course for me and friends.
Great condition
Great experience. Great design and well maintain. Recommended for all level of player.
Beautiful and challenging course.
I've played on this course many times. One of my favorites.
We should have played Eagle, as it was in much better shape. Course is in receivership, and is not being kept up to what it used to be, disappointed.
Would rather have played EAGLE, which the staff told us is in much better condition
Nice course. Course is in very good shape
Course is in very good shape. People are very friendly. We got Range balls free of charge. They have a very good GPS system. Interesting course layout. I will come back.
Right from the start the staff was very friendly, helpful and adding to our enjoyment of the day. The course was well cared for especially the greens.
Great pace of play on a lovely course. Guaranteed a great experience.
Best burger of my life too!
aawesome food in clubhouse also burger was the best and my buddies were stealing my fries
Course was in horrible condition.
Played the afternoon after a storm had come through the area. I was expecting some debris on the course, but it was apparent the staff made no attempt to clean it up at all. The greens were the worst I've ever played. Most of them were full of weeds, which made it impossible to hit a straight putt and had huge patches grass.
Interesting, challenging course.
Fast greens. Lots of water. Need to have straight shots. A few bare patches on greens, but slick. A handful for most average golfers.
the golf now prosess is grate.
this course was in grate shape and was a pleasure to play.
President's Country Club ( Patriot's Course}
this course is in great shape , player friendly, and a great value!!
Great fun and a good challenge
The Eagle is probably the best public access course in the West Palm Beach area. The staff is great and facilities are much better than average. Lots of tees make it as interesting as you can handle.
Well-designed course
Six sets of tees gives plenty of choice. Good use of water and large trees in the design. Greens were not as good as I've seen them in the past; not fully recovered from the recent aeration, but also some new damage (birds?)
