Eagle/Osprey at Okeeheelee Golf Course

About
Okeeheelee Golf Course offers 27 holes of championship golf. The name is Seminole for 'quiet waters,' an appropriate name since the course's secluded parkland setting overlooks the sparkling waters of Clear Lake. The holes are divided into three nine-hole courses that provide three different 18-hole combinations. Named after the wildlife that can be seen throughout the golf course, the Osprey, Heron, and Eagle nines all offer unique scenery and challenges. The Eagle/Osprey combination will test your target golf skills. The elevated greens are framed with strategically placed bunkers and deep rough and tall stands of trees line the fairways. There is no shortage of water on the course either. In addition to the three courses, Okeeheelee G.C. offers a driving range and a large putting green as well as chipping, pitching, and bunker practice areas.

Really Nice Facility
Courses are in great shape, well manicured and greens are tough but fair. Very much worth the money.
Okeeheelee County Course
It's apparent the county put a lot of money into this course. The course is in amazing shape and the starters did a great job with pacing. Our round was about 4 hours and 20 mins, though I had heard rounds were taking 5 hours there recently so we may have got lucky with the groups ahead of us.
Bag drop
It was embarrassing to see three elderly staff at the bag drop argue over a $2 tip from some other player.. profanity was used.
Sad
Fabulous Course!
It's the best public golf course I have played in South FL in the past year!
Nice public course
This course has 27 holes and you'll be assigned to 2 of the courses depending on availability. All 3 are decent, present a reasonable challenge. There's a lot of water on this course, and many blind shots. Prepare to lose balls. Overall, it is better than most public courses and worth playing. The amenities are also above average. Beware, there are aggressive birds on this course and they will take up residence on your golf cart and search it for any food. Take precautions.
Poor
We teed off at 1:16 told we had to have the carts in the barn by 5:20 no rangers evidentto keep the pace going at the turn a twosome cut in front of us and slowed us way down we went back to the starter and he wanted their cart numbers which I provided nothing was done we quit on the 14th hole because of darkness and to have our carts in by 5:20 upon leaving the course all the groups in front of us and behind us were still on the course if you’re going to make rules have the staff enforce them for $60$ apiece for my family’s foursome this made for a terrible day
Slow slow slow!
They overload this course! On some holes 2 groups waiting on the tee! Tee times only 8 minutes apart but with walkers mixed in with riders it is EXTREMELY slow! Started round at 12.30 and had to give up on the 14th hole as it was getting dark and we were unable to complete round. We complained and we were offered a $8 rain check!!
Total waste of a day and very frustrating!
Everything good!!
Pace of play/ conditions of course/ staff friendly- no complaints
