Fun place to play
These people have the right idea about golf for the masses. Very few players [ myself certainly included] are tour quality players. This place is ALL about the fun. From the friendly staff to the person who drives around delivering either rum shots or ice pops the whole vibe is about having a relaxing, fun and enjoyable day.
Pace of play & course conditions
9:58 Tee Time started promptly with some shuffling by the starter due to a group being late. Starter made the right play pushing my 3-some ahead of them.
However, we were behind a 4-some who were older gents that couldn’t hit off the tee further than 150 yards. So every hole was a par 8; that’s OK not everyone has the same strengths, but when the next closest group is 1.5 holes away. 1 of 2 things should have happened, 1. They allow us to play through as we were sometimes waiting at the tee box WITH them and or putting while they took 2/3 tee shots each. 2. A ranger enforces PoP and tells them to pick it up, or drop in the fairway to make a gap etc.
Neither happened. Estimated 40 minutes of just waiting for the group ahead of us.
Additionally, it is 100% understandable that the course will go through maintenance and restoration of tee boxes and greens. As players, we are happy to see this; but not for full price. 6-8 tee boxes were gone and every green was FRESHLY aerated so putting was impossible.
I will always recommend this course, but at least give players notice when restoration is in progress. Out of towners may be very excited to come and play, this would disappoint them (not me .. chances are I’ll be there in 2/3 weeks lol)
Great Vibe and atmosphere
Place was def cool with great vibe, bar and driving range. The range has everything you need and its covered and cool. Course was ok. If your a low handicapper than its a drive chip and putt. Greens were aerated, which is fine but wasn't told till after checking in that is pricing was discounted. 42.00. Depending on what your level of play is makes the difference. I will be back to hit balls and have a few beers.
Pace of play is always slow.
This is a fun course but the pace of play is always super slow. The new upgrades are awesome and the driving range is great. I would come here more often if not for the pace of play. After this last round we went to the 19th hole. Had to practically beg the bartender every time we needed anything. It was always a customer that got the bartender’s attention for us. Oh, if you play late in the day, bring Off or some other type of bug spray. The gnats come out to party late in the day. Overall, it’s not my favorite course but it’s popular so I end up playing here more than I would if I chose the course.
Palm Beach National
Great experience including the new club house! Covered driving range kept the sun off while warming up. Friendly staff. Although the tee boxes are being redone the rest of the course was in great shape for this time of year. Enjoyed the round even with the hour rain break.
Good family round
The course was in great condition and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Terrible service
We ordered drinks and didn’t get anything at all and to drive in the middle of our tee time to get our drinks since it was over 1 hour plus and they said they made a mistake and that’s it after calling multiple times.
Great course, fast and well kept greens
Loved my day of golf here, the course is well maintained, the greens are fast and we really enjoyed our day here!
Palm Beach National Golf Club – A Beautifully Reimagined Course Worth Every Penny
Palm Beach National Golf Club delivered a fantastic round from start to finish, and it is clear that the recent remodel has taken this course to an entirely new level. If you have not played it since the renovation, it is time to get back out there — because what they have done with this place is impressive.
The experience started on the right foot before I even reached the first tee. The cart guys were friendly, efficient, and had me set up and out on the course a few minutes ahead of schedule. It is a small detail, but that kind of attentiveness sets a great tone for the entire round.
The front nine offers a moderately challenging layout that keeps you engaged without overwhelming you — but make no mistake, Hole 3 is where things get interesting. This Par 3 features an island green that demands precision and nerves of steel. Miss it, and you are fishing a ball out of the water. I can personally confirm that from experience — twice. However, the third attempt was the charm, and walking away with a birdie on that hole made it one of the most satisfying moments of the round. Let's just say the scorecard looks a little cleaner when you do not count the warm-up attempts.
The back nine opened up beautifully and offered a more navigable layout that allowed the round to finish on a high note. A 44 on the back was a solid result and a reminder of just how enjoyable the course plays when the layout works in your favor.
The cart service was a bit sparse throughout the round, but when she did come around, she was well-stocked with just about everything you could need — so the wait was worth it. A little more frequency on the beverage rounds would round out the on-course experience perfectly.
After finishing up, the newly remodeled clubhouse was the ideal place to unwind. Beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed, it is a genuine reflection of the investment this club has made in delivering a top-tier experience. The driving range is a great bonus as well — well-maintained and a perfect place to warm up or wind down before or after your round.
Overall: A beautifully remodeled course that delivers great value and an experience well worth the green fee.
Palm Beach National Golf Club has clearly put serious thought and investment into every aspect of the property. From the welcoming staff to the memorable island green on Hole 3 to the stunning clubhouse, this is a course that belongs on your regular rotation.
Good Course, Too Much Hype.
Overall the course was great. Only issues were pace of play being extremely slow and on holes 1 and 10, good luck finding your ball. Those two holes run parallel next to the driving rang. The range has no side nets so everyones hooks and slices are just in the middle of the fairway on those holes.
Conditions were great, no issues with anything on the couse. Green speeds were moderate.
I would say the price of 100 at 11 is way too much, not enough bang for your buck. Nothing stood out. There are certainly better options for 70-80 dollars that play earlier than 11.
Excellent Golf Course
These people are super friendly and helpful. The golf course is phenomenal and is in excellent condition, the greens are PGA style lol super fast lol!!!!!
NOT worth $125
Course itself was fun to play and in good conditions, but for $125 for a round you’d expect at least to have paved cart paths. Groundskeepers were scraping/leveling the cart paths during prime time Saturday morning and followed us the entire 18 holes. Wouldn’t come back unless it was $80 or below
Pleasantly Surprised!
Overall great experience.
Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great outing.
Wide open course
The one manager guy who checked us in played ranger on the 10th tee to have us skip 11. He’s really weird. No one was behind us and after that move we ended up waiting on the people in front of us all day. If we were that far behind, I’d blame the guy at the hot dog stand who doesn’t know how to use their POS system. This course is advertised as fun yet they’re so concerned with our pace between the 9 and 10 and no other warnings.
The NASH
Always look forward to playing at The Nash. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Most of the course was in excellent shape considering recent freeze and drought. The fairways any greens were the most part in very good shape.
A golf experience like no other
This place is definitely and great experience. It caters to everyone. Beginners can enjoy and will enjoy the layout, the driving range is awesome and the staff are great. You can bring your family to this place to just hit balls. It’s like a “Too Golf” range but smaller.
