Eighteen Hole at Green Tree Golf Club

The people at the course are so nice an friendly. We had a great time playing. The time of play was very good. The greens are in great condition

Course was in good shape for this time of the year, however, the 16th was closed and there was nothing mentioned about that on the web, or in the club house.

A great value for the money. A small bucket of range balls is included with the green fees. Very nice putting area. Driving range is adequate. Greens were well maintained. Good course for beginners and intermediate players. Course is flat for the most part, which makes it easy to navigate. I will play again soon.

You can take care of your golf fix here at a moderate price. playing only 17 holes (#16 is closed).

Our greeting at the course started with the younger of the 2 women stating that she hated "fathers day!" What a way for us to start off our day after paying to play a course! We then proceeded to wait on every shot we took, we had a single behind us with 3 foursomes in front. The course attendant drives up to us and without checking the what was going on, asked why haven't we let the single go ahead of us! Also speaking in a VERY rude tone! All this and the course is short 1 hole for maintenance, no warnings about this at all and still charging full price. I will not go back to this course ever...

greens and fairways good shape expect some wind.people say course to small since a par 5 was removed on back 9 for the money great deal.

Slope is now down to 110 for the whites.

had group in front that was slow beyond slow, would not allow my twosome to play thru, had walkers cut around them and that is what we had to do, no marshall in sight, 1 hole out of service, course in so so condition at best, other courses in area to choose from, chose them

Old style (1960's), flat golf course, some trees,some water, slow greens,fairways could be mowed a bit shorter, Way Over priced if you cannot book via Golfnow... Good course for brginners.

The course is getting better and better. I am playing it more often because of the improvements.

The course is in great shape, and the staff always makes you feel welcome.

Great little course ...have to hit fairways to score..rough is very difficult...

The maintenance people are trying to improve conditions. They have had some problems with fungus on some greens, but are working hard to correct the problem.

We had a power cart and finished the 18-holes in 3.25 hours. Course in good condition with rough cut down. Can't wait for #16 & 17 par 3s with tee moved back for longer 3 or short par-4. Currently a par-69.

The course needs work. The fairways were rough. Holes 16 and 17 were playing from temporary tees. The sand traps that were not wet had very little sand. The green putted true but they were very slow and bumpy. There was no cart service during the round. The snack bar was closed at the end of our round at 3:45 PM.

They have been "fixing" the championship course for about a year now. Have been playing from temp tee's and closed holes at full price for a long time now. When the course is in pristine conditions it is still overpriced in my opinion.

They have had to change the 16th and 17th holes which were my favorites.
Then the 12th green was closed and they had made a temporary green.

But we only payed 15 so this is still a great deal.

golfed here a lot until i was hassled rudely by the marshall, complained and apparently this guy is a constant problem because he always gets complaints according to the employee i complained to that day. i booked through golfnow, it came with a free warm up bucket of balls and the guy that checked me in didnt even offer me what i had paid for. and tried to charge my friend a cart fee when it was already paid for. what a hassle. this day was the only day ive had problems here and i go here more ofeten than other courses, but this fiasco and waste of my day and money has prevented me from going back since.

This course has been changed quite a bit in the last few years. Two holes have been shortened and one par five is now a par three, When I played on 2/4/2013 one par five on the back nine had a temporary green that was the same as the fairway. The condition has gone down in the last year but it may have to do with the winter effects. The price at GolfNow was a good deal but if you had to pay the going rate it is not worth the cost.

2 reasons for this low rating: maintenance and "permanent- temporary tees" on holes 16 and 17.

Greens were _very_ soft and shaggy when I played Green Tree GC which made them extremely slow. Based on the length of the grass on the greens, I'd be surprised if they were mowed the day I played. Fairways need to be re-seeded.

Hole 16 is a par 5 shortened to a weak par 3 #9-iron# with a temporary tee. Hole 17 is a shortened par 3 #8 or 9-iron# with the permanent tee box blocked off.

Combine the fact that hole 15 is the shortest par 3 on the course at a 100 yard wedge and you've got three short par 3's in a row on this course.

When I asked about holes 16 and 17, I was told because holes 16 and 17 are so close to the road/highway, they shortened them to reduce errant golf balls going onto the road. They mentioned "possibly" re-routing these holes or erecting a fence/net but no imminent plan was/is in place so I would consider these holes "permanent-temporary" tees and shortened until further notice.

They do have a driving range but mats were in bad shape and the range is in obvious need of general upkeep/maintenance.

Bottom-line, I would consider playing the course for $15-$18 in the condition it was in when I played it.

The staff was nice as well as the servers at the grill. Food was pretty tasty.
