About
Sitting at the gateway to the renowned Napa Valley wine district, Chardonnay Golf Club meanders through acres of lush Chardonnay and Merlot vineyards dotted with sparkling lakes and wandering creeks. Native flora and fauna cover the golf course, which also provides a home for an abundance of wildlife including hawks, foxes, bobcats, and even the occasional golden eagle. Besides the spectacular setting, the layout provides one of the most challenging rounds in the area. The rolling landscape provides interesting elevation changes and there are plenty of mature trees coming into play. Several holes also feature water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. Chardonnay Golf Club's greens are lightning fast and the course plays long. One of the most memorable holes, both for the scenery and level of difficulty is the par-3 eighth. This hole is framed by stunning views of the Valley and it requires some clever shotmaking skills.

Course is difficult, pin locations didnt help
Deep rough , stay in fairways lol
Played with senior discount so price was awesome.
Great course. Interesting layout that is challenging but still very playable for a high handicap golfer. Loved the grass driving range. Only downside was that the carts need upgrading and there weren’t many grab and go options for food.
Tough course
No water on the course, no drink cart
Rough was deep, dont miss the fairway
A few tees could use alot more care (back 3's)
Senior Wednesday rate makes it affordable
Ruff
The ruff was deeper than US OPEN. Lost a few balls more than I’d like to admit. Still fun but to much RUFF!
Good Course
Course was in great condition. Pace of play was very good and well paced. Not to difficult or tricky layout. Will definitely come out and play this course again
Nice Course, slow play
I enjoy playing this course, but almost a 6 hour round. No marshal to keep pace of play.
Beautiful Course just don’t mind the golf carts!
Not the easiest course to play but it sure has a nice lay out!
Beautiful course. The only thing that doesn’t go well with the entire ambiance of the course….the golf carts! It could be a lot better. The nice touch of the course doesn’t pair well at all with how primitive the golf carts look.
Another good time
I played with a nice couple that I never met before. They were both good golfers, male and female. I had no problems. Piece of plate was fine. I enjoyed my full 18. I walked the whole course by the way proud of myself for walking the whole 18 holes with my push cart.
A great practice round of golf
This is a very nice golf course even though some of the cart paths need to be repaired.
Some of the holes are pretty challenging. Anyway I love playing this course. I will strongly recommend this course to my buddies.
Sad conditions
Beautiful course, my favorite in the Bay Area. Sad to see it so rundown (sand traps and cart paths).
