Great course
The price has recently gone up but if you can find a Hot Deal, it is well worth the price. The course was in great shape. The pace can be slower with all the residents playing

Hit it straight
The course is not long but it has several holes where an accurate t-shot is a must. Even though it is a fairly short course still challenging with the narrow tree lined fairways
Southport Spring
Mid-high handicap players will enjoy Southport. Plays short, but length alone won’t rip it up. Great cafe, friendly staff.
Pleasantly surprised
Great service. Quant. Not super easy. Good greens, little slow but rolled well. We enjoyed it.
Pretty Good Course
Good Course. Plays nice from the Senior Tees. Couple Holes on the Back Nine need trees removed/trimmed as the Fairways are too narrow. A few too many bare spots with little or no grass. Some rough, especially around some greens, is too thick and has a lot of weeds. Good value just needs a bit more attention to detail.
Pretty Good Shape.
A few fairways and much of the rough needed better mowing. Couple holes on back nine need oak trees trimmed back from the fairways. Winter Rates a bit high.
Overall, a good course and very playable. Friendly Staff. Good pace of play when no outings on the course.

a short course that is a lot of fun to play.

Great golf at a reasonable price.
I play this course often because it’s in good shape, great staff and not too tough for a novice player, like myself. It’s a great deal for the money.
Dodging showers...
... made by the course. We were dodging active sprinkler heads making the greens sticky and sluggish. It seems we were following their no rhyme/reason randomness. The dry greens were fairly fast. I understand they haven't programmed them, yet, but couldn't they open the valves after 5?

Good short game practice
Course was in decent shaped. Course seemed to be well used. Greens were slightly slow. Very few traps.

A good mix of hazards
Greens were in ok condition, fairways were good, pace of play was good.

Nice short course. Great Staff, course always in good shape. Pace was a little slow, but was busy Holiday weekend.
