The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Great Value
Drove 45 minutes and arrived early and starter allowed us to tee off early. The pace of play was good with groups ahead and behind us keeping a good pace the entire round. Greens were a little slow but rolled well for the most part, fairways were sandy in areas but was in good shape. The food was good afterwards in the clubhouse.
Standards
I booked a tee time for a round.. Got there and no driving range 😕.. I can't stand going from trunk to tee... Some of the fairways didn't even have grass on the middle of the fairway, the greens were so furry you had to bang the ball to get it to the hole... No cart girl !!!! I will not be back
First time out
Course needed maintenance. Greens were uneven, tee boxes were not level.
First but not last
Played this while on spring break from work. Went out early so pace was not a problem at all, course was in good shape, layout was fun, I would for sure go back and play it again.
Good for the money paid
I played on Wednesday and Friday. After the heavy afternoon rains on Wednesday, it got way better than Wednesday!
Greens were running better. Fairways were great!
Budget Friendly course
For what you pay, it's in average conditions. Greens need more love as well as some fairways. However, is cheap if you're looking to play while saving a few dollars.
The course needs attention
Overall the course was not that bad for the money. I was not pleased to know there isn't any bathrooms along the way, making it difficult to continue to play if you have to go.The cart pats needs big time improvements.
Greens were terrible.
Fairways, tee boxes and bunkers all in pretty good shape but you almost can't tell the difference between fairway and where the green starts. The greens were very slow which is fine but they rolled so un-true it was crazy. I had putts going every which way as they were hitting pieces of crab grass and other random weeds on the green. Also some of the cups were pretty poorly cut a few actually had mounds so you really had to putt with force. I golf every weekend and usually don't leave reviews but the greens were just so disappointing it really made for a tough round. Besides the greens everything else was great though, layout is a blast.
