The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Old Hoosiers
Always enjoyed playing this course in the pass. Could be weather or disease but greens in bad shape. Hope this problem can be corrected
Challenging Course
I'm a value searching golfer, and this course seemed slightly below average of the FL courses I play, but it was challenging and longer than most Greens, Traps, and farways were a little rough, but very playable and pace of play was excellent.

Very disappointing. Had played the course couple of weeks ago and at that time the greens were in good shape. Now they are NOT. I would say that of the 18 greens, more than half were in bad shape. Very little grass and hard as a rock. Like the layout but until conditions improve, will not be back.
Disappointing
Obviously the new owners have not been putting any money into the course. Conditions were disappointing at best. No carts availble for tee times. Many groups waitiing. Appears sprinklers have been turned off.
Maybe in the future
I understand that there are new owners, and it looks like they are trying to make improvements but the greens are very rough ! I like the course but I think I'll wait awhile before playing it again ! I do look forward to playing it (next year) again !
Great starter, great day
Greens were a little rough, I’ve seen them in better shape, but remember this is not a $75 course. Good value for the money. The starter was great, kept everybody in line and moving on a busy day.
Great layout, BAD maintenance
This is a great layout that is not maintained. The day we played they ruled ALL bunkers as ground under repair (even though most looked the same as always ? Different sand in almost every bunker). They are losing most green to what appears to be a fungus and there are many bare spots in the fairways. Don't they sell grass seed in Florida anymore ?
It's sad, could be a great course.

Range, parking
This course would feel better if there was a practice range instead of starting play cold. Wish there was more space for parking.

Food service was very poor. We should not have to wait 20 minutes for something to eat at 2pm . Golf course should invest in quicker cooking appliances.
Lake Bernadett
Fairways are is ok shape, a few tight lies in places. Greens were bumpy and ball was knocked off line a lot, so once we got on we took two putts and called it good.
