Slow
Slow. Slow, slow
Marshall's need to Marshall and not just be seen. People don't rake bunkers or fix ball marks. Marshall's need to Marshall.
The Meadow
Course was is in decent condition. Sand traps were 50/50 - fairways were pretty good and the greens still need another week. Practice green was awesome though. Range is closed Wednesday am which sucks but at least the restaurant is open.
Aerating 1 week earlier than plan
Website showed they planned on aerating the greens on 10/4, instead the 1st 4 greens were being worked on 8 days ahead of that. No notification from the pro shop. Then the pace slowed to a crawl after those holes. Course was in good shape otherwise.
Course a bit damp
All of the “county” run courses seem to be damp lately. Overwatered. So many areas just totally soaked. So you either get no roll, or you have to deal with the splash shot. Some areas were so soaked you had to move the ball 50 yards to find a dry spot.
The greens were also way too damp, moist, soaked, the ball would land and sit in its own ballmark.
At least this place had decent bunkers with sand in them, unlike the last couple county courses I played (see my other review).
But, you have to love this track. The layout is fantastic.
Great course
3rd time. Fun course. Good condition. Some things can tarnish a good day of golf at a great course like the kid working in the pro shop is an arrogant, zero customer service employee. Management should do better.
Don't know why my verified tee time was pushed back 10 minutes by the golf course. No explanation.
Look forward to playing there again.
Great course
First time playing but DEFINITELY not the last. Great day.
