Nice Course not easy to make a Tee Time so Was good.
Slow pace
Took our group 3 hours to play 10 holes. We left after 10.
Great outing
Staff in the pro shop and the starter were both very friendly. Although the course was packed as usual, we were able to start on time (a big surprise!) Condition of the course was pretty good like before in a beautiful day.
Always awsome
Great course, great layout but no effective course Marshall. As he drove around saying hello he didnt notice 4 groups on every hole. Two at the tee, one on the fairwY and one on the green.
To be honest this course usually moves to an average 4.5hr round. When a group stalls and entire golf course and either no marshall or a gutless one, just get rid of them all and save some money
Horrible policies
Raining today, walking only, they don’t have push carts to rent, price was the same as of you were riding in a cart, $63.75 to walk in the rain??? Seriously??? I like this course but it’s got some issues. We left and went to Marshall Canyon, better value, better management
Fun Layout, Good Value Muni
Played on a winter Fri late afternoon, course very busy and the range was stacked 2 and 3 deep with people waiting to hit balls, so says a lot for the popularity of the course ( or for the lack of good public courses in the area).
Walked the course, good workout with plenty of elevation changes and elevated greens so you need to be wary of clubbing up or down to adjust distances. The course profile says they have pull-carts for rent but that is not the case, they did not have them.
Course conditions were very good and greens fairly fast.
I would play here again if in the area.
Nice Public Course!
This course was in great shape given that we played in November. The fairways were green and healthy and the greens were in very good condition. Thankfully, not too much water to contend with, and plenty of elevation change, with beautiful backdrops of the San Gabriel Mountains. My only constructive feedback is that the club should not charge for 18 holes when there are no tee times earlier than 2:40pm when it gets dark at 4:45pm.
Other than that, this was a great experience.
First time playing course. Got a kick seeing deer on the course. Challenging course for beginners but moderate for experienced players.
First time playing here and only played nine holes this course was somewhat challenging on its par fives but other than that it was very laid out
nice course
I have not played the course in a number of years, but the course was in excellent shape, however the pace of play was slow - almost 5 hours.
