Shandin Hills is a tough course, challenging
This course is challenging. It has length, elevations, tight fairways and nice greens. Beverage cart is in point
Great layout and great for beginners
Love the layout and size of the course but the fairways need a revamping because they are full of crab grass and dirt patches
Its drying up
With the colder weather the fairways are and bunkers are getting harder I was nice and fluffy a few months ago. But still a nice layout with tricky but well kept greens
It’s great value for your money.
This is my second time here and to be honest it’s a great course. It’s worth the money. There are some dry spots and bad spots but definitely playable. The bunkers are nice and raked in the morning the greens are nice very little to complain about for the price. The price includes a breakfast items and a foam cup that gets you soda refills. Also the carts work great. So definitely will be returning.
Very slow.
Very slow...had several times when we waited 20 plus minutes to teeoff..had a group in front of us that thought we were hitting balls at.them and the deliberately drove golf balls at us...lack of knowledge that they were next to other fairways
Idk
New young kid I’ve never seen here before said that the drink and hot dog doesn’t apply to golf pass member rates… I’ve been coming here all year and receiving this deal. I’ve been given the deal by guys who look way more in charge than this lil guy. I asked if they changed something and he said “no the other people just don’t know what they are doing”….. So idk what’s going on, kid was sitting on a high horse
Course in. decent shape
First time returned to Shandin Hills and it's in decent condition. The only issue is some fairways can be improved further.
nothing special but .....
I played here as I heard some improvements were being made and I can say the greens were in better shape then previous times and the course was greener then usual which helped with better lies but the so called pace of play was ridiculous as there was a huge line of groups at the first hole(at least 4 groups) .... Its the weekend so you expect some delays but geez.... there was 2 groups of 5 that went out right before us with no one there to regulate or enforce.... They totally need a starter!! once out on the course its pretty much just ghetto golf as we call it as players taking random balls, hitting multiple tee shots just causing most holes to be backed up with super long delays.... The best part hands down was the "Hot Dog" after the 18th!! Will I be back? only if I'm desperate (You get what you pay for) but I can say the course did show improvements and was ok.
Drivers Beware
Where to start…..Agonizingly slow play, packed with people who should be at Colton GC learning to hit a ball more than 10’ . Actively replacing sand in bunkers is a nice touch. Carts are years past retirement age. Beware……my catalytic converter was stolen right out of parking lot. 35 years of playing here ended, forever
