San Dimas Canyon Golf Course

I had a 12:30 tee time and was able to tee off early which was great. Started at 12:20 and barely finished in the dark at 5:45pm. I will never play this course again unless I have one of the first times of the day. They obviously put too many groups out and don't monitor pace of play. Not enjoyable at all.

Arrived a few hours early for our prepaid tee time, met with staff who advised us of the delays which meant previous bookings for 2 arrived with 4 making the Starters job all that more difficult. Overall she, the Starter did a great job.

The Pro shop directed us to the cafe where we were greeted by the host who turned out to be our server. We decided to have lunch, the staff there was upbeat friendly and our server suggested a great chicken sandwich.

Got our cart and were paired with 2 great guys who had great attitudes towards the delays as well as the group ahead of us, both, class acts.

Course was great, greens were maintained from the previous groups, while we waited to tee off saw the Lady Marshall encourage a faster play from the groups a few holes in front of us.

We ended at 9 since my dad’s dementia was entering ’Sundowners’.

We had some great shots and didn’t lose any balls.

Hopefully we’ll be back again soon.

One of the best courses in the area, plus have a Marshall keeping pace of play.

In my 30+ years, this is by far the worse round ever. 6+ hours to complete. We called the Marshall and they didn't help at all. He said they get complaints about the same group every week. That's nice but they haven't done anything to help. We will not be coming back.

Course condition was good, but the greens are way too fast. 3 putted the first 4 greens. With sloped greens and Sunday pin placement it hard to score. This also leads to slow play. Slow up the greens and its a fun but tight track.

Difficult course with scenic layout. Well kept course overall

The starter was on a power trip, so the round started off annoying. They let people off every 7 minutes and the course was absolutely packed. We quit after eight holes because it was unbearable.

Good layout, greens were quicker than normal, had quite a bit of slope. Pace of pay could be better.
