The Reserve at Spanos Park

Food was good. Course conditions 7/10. Slow. Played behind a group playing from the tips that had no business playing from them. Made our round 45 minutes longer than it should have been. No marshal to be seen.

Last minute booking via Golfnow. Long drive from South Bay and was pleasantly surprised with the facility, layout and condition of the course. Friendly staff throughout from pro shop, on course food cart to the bar. Condition was extremely good considering most of the courses in South Bay are still wet. Will play there again.

Enjoyed everything about the course except for slow pace of play. Granted it was a Saturday, but on every hole the wait was one to two foursomes deep. We encountered a ranger mid-way through, but he told us that everyone was moving through smoothly.

The course itself was in great shape. The greens are smooth, hard and fast.

This is the toughest course in Stockton. Forced me to get my swing back. Very nice with a spectacular sunset Felt like my wife should have been there instead of my Hawaiian princes who was visiting from Hawaii.

We play the Reserve a lot. It is close to home and always in good shape. Yesterday was the slowest weekday round I have ever played. We were well over 4 hours with 4 holes left to play. It was windy and getting cold so we just left. There was a Marshall, but he was like a sheriff without a badge. He had no idea how to solve the problem even though he told us that there was a group that had three empty holes ahead of them. Perhaps the Marshalls should be educated a bit on what their job is.

First time playing this course and I was very satisfied. Weather conditions were ideal and course was in great shape. Big props to the superintendent staff.

Course layout is on the easy side with wide fairways. Fun to play without the threat of losing too many balls. There is some water, but not too challenging. Guy I played with said the course is a lot tougher when windy, but it was dead calm when I was there. Very get-able.

Price seemed a little high, but the condition of the course was worth it. Will definitely play again.

It was my son's birthday and he wanted to play The Reserve at Spanos Park. We had the 7:30 am tee time I believe only one group infront of us. The weather at that time was foggy, cold, and damp. The course was in Outstanding condition. The back nine the weather was sunny, very comfortable, NICE! We finished in three hours on the dot. It was an incredible round. Oh, our scores did not reflect the wonderful round of golf we had. Staff was friendly and courteous. Golf course was in great condition, price for our round was fair and competitive. Thank you for a great birthday present for my son....

Everything was great but check in could be improved. After checking in as single with a tee time and waiting with cart, ready to go, I watched as a 3 some was called up and teed off. Followed by a 4 some. Then I was called to tee with 4 some (making it 5). Played 1st hole and then was met when heading to 2 hole by employee in a cart and asked to drop back and join single behind me. The single had checked in before me.

The course was a little wet. Cart path only. And Standing water in some spots. But still worth playing. Good day.

Tooo much water on course. Is not an easy course to begin with but with the many additional ponds in the fairways and losing balls in bunker ‘waters’ was reason for poor review.

The course had a lot of standing water on the fairways. but was still playable. just a little more challenging. overall it was a good experience. Will definitely play it in the future.

Everything is above par compared to what’s available in manteca , stockton , modesto. If you get it on a hotdeal then its less $$ then lower options.
