The Reserve at Spanos Park

Course conditions weren’t bad but the greens had a bit of ball marks from inconsiderate players. Seems to be the normal for the last few courses I’ve played. We had a threesome behind our foursome that seemed to be in a rush hitting into us as we we’re about to drive off from a green. You just couldn’t wait another 10-15 seconds … Our pace of play shouldn’t have been an issue as we played under 4 hours

Second time in a row play took over 5 hours. I’m not coming back.

The first thing the person that checked us in did was to emphatically state that we would not be allowed to go off early because we had booked a GolfNow deal time. We did not plan to do so, or even ask, he just came right out and said it, which gave us a bit of an unwelcome feeling. They called players to the first tee, which is always appreciated. Course was unnecessarily tough for two reasons: pin placements on some holes were harsh, and bunkers contained compacted sand which was often muddy.

Course conditions were very good and pace of play was even better.

Course was in fair to good condition. Greens were rough due to sheer numbers of players (lots of unrepaired ball marks ). Round took 5 hours plus with no marshall to speed play. The last time I played took > 5 1/2 hours. I will not be back! Proshop staff was excellent as was the on course refreeshment cart. Either lengthen starting timess to everry 15 minutes or hire a marshall that cares.

One of my favorite courses in the Sacramento metro area. I like well groomed courses with water and houses on them. The reserve does not have houses but the course from tee box to green is in great shape. Greens were fast and true. Fairways in great shape even with course being restricted on water. I’m not a fan of paying rack rate but this one is worth it.

Always a good round here. Course is normally in 9 out of 10 condition. Great layout for all handicaps. Bar staff is great! You will not be disappointed

We play at the Reserve about once a month. It is always in good shape and is a fun course that requires some shot making. We slowed down a bit on the back nine, back still finished well under four hours. Play here, you will not be disappointed.

Great golf course in amazing condition, make sure you can control your shots there is water on majority or the holes. Greens were running super smooth and in great condition. It can get a bit windy out here so get out early or be ready to for it to keep you on your toes. Would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to play on a challenging but fun golf course!!

Very nice course. Played with family members, had a blast. There was a few things that could easily be worked on. Those greens were super fast! But challenging. Which I very much enjoy. Overall a 8/10.

It course was overbooked. The three group in front were playing at a reasonable pace, just too many people, The entire back 9 had long waits on each tee. I have played this course three times, this round was the worst.

Great time playing this course. Fairways are wide open. Some H2O to deal with and the beaches (sand traps) are present but the fairways nd greens (fast) are in great shape.

When the course pace is good this is an excellent course to play. Very enjoyable .
