Understand your ability to handle the afternoon wind
Course has a turf range which is a plus.
Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape, greens aren't at their best. The drought hasn't kicked in yet so get your rounds in ASAP.
Sanded greens boo
Should give better rates when the greens are sanded. Should show us prior to booking
Beautiful
Excellent pace of play for a Saturday course was just a beautiful place to be.
Slow play due to tournament
Mgmt should not schedule t times right behind a college or high school tournament as the pace of play due to tournament is extremely slow as it was yesterday.
Had I known there was a tournament right in front of my time, I would not have made it here but as it turned out, was not told until after check in and not by starters at desk but by the players from the 2 Jr. colleges competing. Made for an excruciatingly slow round that took over 5 hours for my twosome.
Always excellent
The reserve at spanos is always in excellent condition. I play there 5 - 10 times a year and it’s always in excellent shape. Will be back next month.
Fun time
Spanos Park is a very fun golf course. Fast greens and fairways looking great. My only complaint is that they could use some yardage markers on the course. It was hard finding the small sprinklers with the yardages on there. Over all it’s a fantastic golf course.
Mid Week Golf Trip
Hadn't had a chance to play here in quite awhile. The Reserve at Spanos Park is a nice mid priced course. Nice layout that makes you use a variety of clubs off the tee. Water and bunkers in play on every hole, however a very fair layout with greens that fast & true. Definitely a course that I recommend to my friends that doesn't disappoint.
Must play
The course is in awesome condition and I love the speed on the greens . To the maintenance crew thank you for all you do in making the course what it is, awesome.
Spanos is a Great course
Spanos Love it. And strongly suggest moo moo burger across the street when done. Best burgers and Oreo shakes.
Excellent course
Everything was perfect! Fairways are well maintained and greens roll fast. Always play better than my handicap because the course is in good condition. Definitely will come back and recommend to others.
Great Course
The course was in great shape and plenty of challenging hole. The greens were fast but rolled true. I would play there on a regular basis if I lived closer.
