Love the elevation changes

Great time. Course is just so beautiful. Very hilly creating elevation changes on almost every hole. The new greens have completely removed this courses largest negative. They are really different. Greens are so dense that even a sky high approach barely leaves a ball mark, yet they play soft and receptive. Never seen anything like it. I expect to play this course often during the fall and winter. Being a country club environment, I expect certain basic amenities, and this course delivers. Clean bathrooms on front and back nines, ball washers that work, GPS system on carts and the nicest carts anywhere. Nice! Nice! Some tees do need some grass work but no biggie.

Finally Avalon in great shape!

I’ve been waiting for this course to get in great shape and it finally is!!! Love this course and the track is amazing! Great staff! Great clubhouse!! I’m coming here now out of all the courses in the area this course is ready to go!!! I was blown away when I played today! Fun times! And will be here a lot from now on! :)

Had to play it twice

Greens were almost completely healed from the aeration. They seemed to roll pretty true. Otherwise conditions were very good. Nice wide fairways and the rough was cut short enough so finding a ball was no problem or much of a issue getting out of it. Loved it. Course was pretty empty so I did the replay rate.

Ran out of golf carts

For $70 a round, I would think they would have enough golf carts. I arrived 60 minutes before my tee time but couldn’t go to the range because they were out of carts. I had to switch out carts twice because they needed them for other groups. Eventually teed off. The tee times were split by 4 minutes so the course was very backed up. Very bush league and not what I was expecting.
