Winter Golf

It poured the night before and was freezing the day of. We were the only 2 that played all day. The course was in great shape considering the weather. Staff let us go ahead and play. Looking forward to coming back in the summer.

Great course

This is a great course! I feel bad about having to say however, call the course and check there price for when you want to play. I have found this in more than one case that the price of a round is cheaper booking directly with the course. I am also finding that many courses I once booked on golf now have dropped there service. I regret having to discuss this issue on a review of a great course like Avalon but golf now is not listing.

Love the elevation changes

Great time. Course is just so beautiful. Very hilly creating elevation changes on almost every hole. The new greens have completely removed this courses largest negative. They are really different. Greens are so dense that even a sky high approach barely leaves a ball mark, yet they play soft and receptive. Never seen anything like it. I expect to play this course often during the fall and winter. Being a country club environment, I expect certain basic amenities, and this course delivers. Clean bathrooms on front and back nines, ball washers that work, GPS system on carts and the nicest carts anywhere. Nice! Nice! Some tees do need some grass work but no biggie.

First time playing Avalon this morning and I really enjoyed it. I was one of the first to tee off so pace was fast. The course was in very good shape. Awesome staff as well. This is most definitely a course I will be playing again.

Finally Avalon in great shape!

I’ve been waiting for this course to get in great shape and it finally is!!! Love this course and the track is amazing! Great staff! Great clubhouse!! I’m coming here now out of all the courses in the area this course is ready to go!!! I was blown away when I played today! Fun times! And will be here a lot from now on! :)
