Avalon Country Club

Medalist at Avalon has best layout in town. It has it all, long holes, short holes, water hazards, and large bunkers. Course is in best shape I have seen it in years. Greens were blazing fast. It was a fair test for any skill level.

From the time we arrived until we finished our round, the experience was excellent! We arrived early and enjoyed lunch at the Grill inside the clubhouse. The food and service were great.

The driving range and practice green were in close proximity to both the clubhouse and first hole so we never felt rushed.

The greens were in excellent shape and the course played exceptionally well. I highly recommend this course.

1st time playing here. I think this might be my new favorite course. 5 stars all the way around.

This was my first time playing at Avalon and it’s definitely one of the best courses around Knoxville. Everything is well kept and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely be coming back here.

Started playing Avalon 2 years ago and the improvements have been great! Best greens I have ever played. New golf carts last month. Complimentary ice/water and during the summer the rangers bring complimentary cold towels to everyone on the course. The food is amazing and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the course and the Grille!

Top tier Knoxville course that every local avid golfer should be playing. Course was extremely wet from the rain but even with that the overall conditions were still fantastic. Flat tee boxes, wide fairways, and perfect greens made this course a true joy to play. Definitely a top 3 public course in Knoxville especially for the price we were able to play for. Only negatives were the steakhouse and grill were closed but that was to be expected on a weekday afternoon. Looking forward to coming back and playing again soon.

Great course! Has done some recent work that has made it the top notch course in the Knoxville area. New carts and gps are amazing.

Routinely play around Knoxville and thos is my favorite course. Great layout and the course is in excellent condition. Highly recommend this golf course!

I played here today and it was great! There are some of the best holes in Tennessee here. The staff was great and I would recommend this course to any golfer!
