Starter was out of line and severely unprofessional
Let me first say that I love playing here but the last time I was here I had the worst experience with a starter of my life by far. First he asked if I was playing alone, I said “I don’t know” which he apparently found to be funny because he laughed right in my face. Then after realizing there was no key in my cart I asked if he had a key to the cart. The guy literally THREW A KEY AT ME which ricocheted off the cart and fell on the ground and he goes “oops must have hit a bump”. So I went to the starting area shortly after to begin my round where he was waving his hand and then just pointed for me to go like he was directing traffic in a street. He was a taller guy and I believe he had a mustache.
Great course. However, pace of play needs to be better.

Good course to play!!
Most of the staff was extremely friendly, and conditions were perfect. Course was in very good shape, it's a little tight, but definitely worth the value.

Good shape
Good shape from tees to greens. Food and drinks are expensive, maybe I’m poor. Trouble everywhere, water, hazards, bunkers with sand and no sand. No starter, nor marshals on the golf course. No comment on staffs or service. Practice facility is solid, off grass, chipping and putting. $10 for 25-30 practice golf balls is not for me.

The bunkers need a lot of work, but overall it’s a very beautiful and challenging golf course.

Average at best
First time playing Bristow Manor in 20 years. Used to be much better.. It is obvious they don’t have enough money to maintain the course properly. I doubt I will be back here again.

Great Lunchtime Round
I was able to get a lunch time tee time which was great. Even though it was hot the greens were great. The twosome I played with were great as well.

Yikes!
I left my rangefinder on the cart by accident when I returned the cart. Called 25 minutes later and spoke with 2 people ( 1 boy & 1 girl) that said they would check and call me back. They didn’t call back and rangefinder was never turned in by the people cleaning the carts. My fault but the employees are lacking if that’s the kind of service being provided.
