About
Ballantrae Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course with a classic links layout reminiscent of those found in Scotland. The golf course has undulating greens, many of which are elevated, and the player-friendly fairways are quite generous. The layout is challenging with more than 50 acres of water hazards and treacherous greenside bunkers. The front nine gently eases you into the game, but the back nine is where the golf course truly shines, especially holes 11-14. Ballantrae Golf Course boasts interesting risk-and-reward opportunities combined with shots that will appeal to long hitters. There are also three tee decks for golfers to choose from.

Course is always in excellent condition. Very good value
Tee boxes are perfect
Green speeds are excellent. Most greens are elevated making for challenging approaches and need to be thinking on chips and pitches.
Great Green
Green is pretty challenging and well maintained. And greater value at the money for playing the same level courses.
The course is in very good condition however the foursome ahead played 2 and 3 balls on every hole .
But it was a good afternoon.
Good Times!
Just finished playing Ballantrae today with a friend of mine. First time playing this course. I was very impressed with the condition of this spot. Fairway, Greens, and the Rough were a 100% ideal.
For a course surrounded by semi-retirement homes this place was primetime! The greens ran true and there were a few times I decided to putt from the fringe of the greens. Overall a great buy for $75 ish.
FYI Tuesdays are the best day to play, a lot of open tee times and less players on the course. Take advantage of the pre-round range. Ballantrae is a must play for all Toronto & GTA golfheads.
Good course in very good condition greens are fast excellent value
Great conditions.
Great course. Very good conditions, very difficult elevated greens. 14th hole has carry from the white tees over a pond with no bailout area. Needs a local rule drop area.
Nice to be scatter
This apring has been verybfrustrating for golfers amd courses. We enjoyed playing without CPO today. Greens were fast and soft enough to stop the ball. Bunkers a little inconsistent. Fairways and tee boxes good. Enjoy this course each time I play here. Good mix of holes.
