Lionhead Golf and Country Club - Masters

The course was in good condition, somewhat disappointed with unavailability of the snack bar early in the morning.

Staff was courteous.

1st time on Legands, course was soaked after hard morning rain, cart path only. The greens were still very fast , but seemed thin and had seen a lot of traffic even though I am sure it wasn't from this day. Pace was great hardly saw any other golfers. We had to fill up the ball washer on our cart as we received it empty and there are no ball washers on the course. Only saw the Cart girl on the 3rd hole then again on the 15th, would have liked to see her a couple more times. We had an enjoyable day

This was a great course but ensure to be ontime, the marshal is strict

I have played the Legends course twice and this was the first time playing the Masters. I actually enjoyed this more than the Legends. Both courses are quite difficult but I prefer the Masters as it was not as challenging. I was paired up with 3 guys who played from the blues. I shot 97. I normally score high 80's/low nineties. They did not shoot much better than me.....tee it forward on this course!!!

The Greens were like walking on the Moon
more crater size divits then greens.
I have not played many courses but the greens were pathetic the day I was there.

No really easy holes here; there are 2 courses. Greens are quick and not easy to read or putt on. Not tons of flat lies on fairways. When cold and windy, the course plays quite long.

I had played the Legends course twice and decided to give the Masters a try. My impression was it is a nice course, but definitely not a premium. Good layout, fairly straight forward. Much easier than the Legends. For the price though, I would rather play the other course. Better views and challenge.

Lionhead did not live up to the hype that I was anticipating. When we arrived we were put immediately behind a tournament, so tee time was delayed and overall pace of play was slow. Seeing how we had a twilight, I felt very rushed as we tried to make it before sunset. On top of that, a twosome behind us were pushing us to the point where they were driving while we were on the fairway still. One hole, their ball hit our golf cart while we were still on the fairway. There was NO snack cart girl the entire round and no information to let us know that there will be no snack cart girl out so that we could buy our drinks from the clubhouse. I suffered from heat stroke and dehydration and was dizzy by the end of the round seeing how we were playing in 30+ degree temp..had to take the day off work the next day..what was even worse was the fact that we entered the clubhouse at the end of the round to try to speak with someone and the gentleman at the front desk did not offer us any tap water or anything, even asking "you look bad man"............yeah......at that point we just wanted to get home and leave this godforsaken course. So will not be returning and will tell my friends that they were wrong about this so called 'one of the best in Ontario' courses.

Course is in great condition. A real test of where your game is!

HAD A 12:44 TEE OFF TIME, STARTED RAINING BY THE FOURTH HOLE. JUST MANAGED TO FINISH THE FIFTH HOLE WHEN IT REALLY OPENED UP. WENT INSIDE THE PRO SHOP TO GET A PAIR OF RAIN CHECKS, WAS INFORMED THAT COULD NOT BE USED BEFORE 8:00 AM AND AFTER 3:00 PM. MY BUDDIES AND I DO NOT PLAY AT THESE TIMES, WAS INFORMED THAT WE BOOKED THROUGH GOLF NOW THAT'S WHY THESE ARE THE ONLY AVAILABLE TIMES. WE WANTED TO BOOK FOR THE SAME TIME THE NEXT DAY BUT THEY WERE ADAMANT THAT THIS WAS THE POLICY. WE HANDED BACK OUR RAIN CHECKS AND INFORMED THEM THAT WE WOULD NOT SPEND A DIME AT ANY KANEFF COURSES. THEY DID NOT CARE WHAT WE THOUGHT. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT RECOMEND ANY OF THEIR COURSES.

You will not be dissapointed with this course. My only complaint is that they turned on the sprinkers when I was on the 11th hole... So I had to call the pro shop to get them to turn it off, besides that its in great shape!

Lionhead masters course was in good shape. Greens ran very quick and were in nice condition. Overall a good round of golf. My only complaint was the pace of play. Started at 1:16 and we didn't finish till almost 6:30pm. Would give it 7/10. Could have been an 8.

I have this course many times and I love the layout.
I always want to give it another chance..Pace of play always an issue. The shape was not very good. Long grass on tees and fairways, bumpy greens...
I still like the course...

The course is challenging, there are some tight fairways. The pin placement is just cruel, very fast and some tough reads on puts. Overall if you can get away with paying $60 including cart, its a great deal.

I have been playing this course for years but the customer service for such a premium club is in the pitts. They used to unload your clubs onto the carts and they used to call you sir but yesterday they did not unload the clubs and called me hey buddy....we went to pay the fees and they kept on talking with the other people there without acknowledgement . It is sad to see the quality of service go down so badly and the green fees keep going up...

I played on a charity tournament - unfortunately it was my first time on a golf course after a couple of lessons, so I could not really enjoy it.because it was very difficult but a really nice place to be and play. The Fairways and Greens are in a great condition, a lot of Marshals out there to keep the order of play and the other staff, very well organized, they know what they do. The food provided was simple,, nothing fancy for that location. But I might be, that this was because of the tournament. I guess they have another menu on the half way hole on a regular day.

No GPS on the cart. Most high end golf courses that charge the same amount of green fees come with a GPS.

There were too many divots on some of the greens. Didn't see anyone trying to repair their divots.

Pace if play was fine. Overall conditions of the golf course was food.

Challenging course. A little tough for a 78 year old from the whites. Would have been better to play the reds

Overall the course was in very good condition but much to be desires when it comes to pace of play. We started at 6.36 and had a very slow group in front of us all morning, we did not see a marshal until the 16th tee block?
