About
The Masters Course at Lionhead Golf & Country Club is ideal for golfers who don't feel they are prepared to take on the demanding Legends Course at the club, which has been ranked as one of the toughest courses in North America. The Masters layout is similar to golf courses in Florida, with unique bunkers and scenic ponds that meld perfectly with the rolling hills and wetlands that dot the scenic landscape. Its more traditional layout is considered the kinder and gentler of the two golf courses at Lionhead Golf & Country Club, but there are still a fair amount of challenges. The Masters course requires several long carries over water, particularly on the 16th. This infamous par 5 features a green surrounded by water.

It took 5 hours 20 minutes to play the round. It's unfortunate because I do like the course. I have played there numerous times and the pace is inconsistent. This last round took way too long and that ruined the outing. I play 50 + rounds per year and I tend to stick to courses that push the pace of play.
Disappointment
had a scheduled tee time and was delayed by 30 minutes. then they put us off the back 9. not what we had signed up for!

Great shape
Played this course a few times and always enjoy it. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The course is in great shape and the pace of play was perfect. The beverage cart was always available. The greens are well maintained.

Incorrect rate
Great day. Course is good as usual, but was a little annoyed we were charged too much. Supposed to be $169 due at course for the 2 of us, we paid $96 each. Didn't realize until I got home.

Course in reasonable shape - brutal pace of play!
Overall the course is in reasonable shape but the pace of play at 5:10 hrs was brutal with no marshals on the course. I have played the course before but had never experienced these kind of delays on almost every hole. They desparately need to pick up the pace!!

Awsome course but slow
Only knock is that we did not see a marshal at all and the pace was pathetic..
will most likely try again but definitely go elsewhere if pace is the same in the future
The course was in great shape for this time of year and drains well as we had a lot of recent rain. The beer cart server was regularly available and the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating. The only negative I would have is that the entire course has a "no cash" policy. Everything is either debit or credit, including the beer cart. However, it's not a big deal if you know about it and to be fair, it is listed on their website. All in all, we had a great time.

Fun layout
For the price there is nothing wrong with this golf course found it thought and fun but fair.
Spring Golf
Always one of my favourite courses. I think it may have been too soon to be played. Conditions were extremely wet. Greens were very slow and bumpy. All this could have been excused if the price wasn't so high. Needs to be better value for this time of season.
Serive and supply awfull
They had barely any food carts had nothing in them to eat and food they had tasted awfull

Course was well overbooked 16 golfers waiting at some tee boxes long time customer of this course offered a free appetizer at restaurant should have received a free round or refund usually course is well run not sure what happene d had to stop at 16th hole due to darkness
For the Middle of November, Fabulous!!!!!
Staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Really helped to get the day off on the right foot. Even for this late in the season, the course was in very good condition. The fairways had been cleared of leaves and the greens , while not as fast as mid season, were very good. Had a great day!!!

Slowest round of my life!
We had a 2:12 tee time that was pushed back 10-15 minutes, at least that's what we were told. 2:40 was when we could finally tee it up. By the time we reached the 3rd hole, we were backed up Two groups. From there on we had to wait a good 10 minutes per hole before we could play. Where's the marshals . With the sun setting at 7, this time of year, a 2:12 tee time should be enough time for a full round. We paid full price and only played 12 holes. Slowest round ever.
