Streetsville Glen Golf Club
About
Streetsville Glen Golf Club first opened in 1967, but major renovation in 2001 have updated this golf course, making it more player friendly while still keeping the challenges of the original layout in tact. With only 10 holes when first opening, eight newly designed, thought-provoking holes were added. The golf course is somewhat short but the wind that comes into play on the back nine makes it seem like it plays much longer. There are also well placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout. Streetsville Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the long par-5 sixth, where an out-of-bounds down the entire left side and a pond on the right require shots to not only be long, but also straight.

Not a golf course I would play again.
The first and last time I will play this course. Surely Kaneff Golf can put a better product together. To say it was a dog track is an understatement.
Good beginner course.
Ideal for casual playing with your spouse or young child because each hole is of moderate length and most shots are recoverable. The routing has changed over the years due to recent housing development which makes for a confusing experience (i.e. 4th fairway, 7th and 10th tee boxes). Some tee markers missing. Fairways not distinguishable from the rough on certain holes (i.e. 12th and 13th holes). Fast pace of play only slowed down by the flood plane holes 15th, 16th, 17th. Excessive goose droppings on #8 fairway and green. Keep your Driver in the bag and enjoy your short game on this course.
Extremely difficult to navigate course
Following heavy rains the previous day, cart path rule was enforced. This was first time playing this course, and it was often extremely difficult to navigate from hole to hole and follow the cart paths, which were often dead ends remaining from when the course was par 72. Map on scorecard and course signage was totally inadequate for the complicated, narrow and confusing layout.
The course required a major update, fairway is not maintained and have major drainage problem. the tee off areas are in poor condition.
I like the location of the course, however, the condition of the course and especially the fairways required a major update. Do not play there after heavy rain, everywhere is water.
The green fees are not cheaper than the other courses, do some research before you pick this course.
Good luck and happy golfing.
Easy 18 holes, when you just want to hit a few and relax.
Played this course before all the houses came up around it, very much downsized, no par 5's, but, if you just feel like hitting a few balls without exhausting yourself this works. Easy drive in the west end gta.
this is a good course for an average golfer
l really enjoy this course but my last visit had a bad experince with the golf carts, i will play this course again but will not use the carts. must have been the day l played
This course is a great find.
Excellent course for beginners and intermediate players. Also a great course to practice your short game. Easy to walk the course but carts are also available. The staff are friendly and courteous. Beverage carts also roam the course for refreshments.
The course is not well maintained and greens are not smooth
This course should be more like 15 dollars for green fees.. It is sub standard for the fees being charged..
Terrible experience
Since subdivision was built ...this course has been butchered up.,,not worth 20 dollars.....but charging 45 dollars ....and 35 dollars for cart to offset price of course .....this is no lion head lol.....very bad conditions kind of like a cow pasture or apple farm.....I think they should bulldoze the place and build more houses ....
worse round of golf in years
We get to the second hole and there is four groups waiting to tee off, we were following a threesome, and when we got to the 11th tee we were now behind a sixsome, ughhhh.
tee boxes were in rough shape
Happy to see the addition of a Porta Potty on the other side of the road! TEE boxes were in rough shape
Good day out to work on your game
Good value for the course. Great opportunity to work on all aspects of the game, long and short, without ending up in too many bunkers or rough.
Badly needs a marshall, pace was unbearable
The course itself is a bit odd in layout but I could get over that if it wasn't for the fact that they seem to try and jam as many players as possible as fast as possible onto the course but don't really do anything about enforcing a decent pace of play. We were stuck behind a threesome (actually we were two groups behind them) who were all over the map. 8+ practice swings before each shot, stopping to chat with buddies after the practice swings (and then doing them again), hitting poorly off the tee so they hit 2-3 balls before they decided it was ok to continue, waiting for the twosome ahead of them to completely clear the par 5 hole before teeing off, yelling loudly at their buddies who are 50 years away while people around them are trying to shoot, etc.
Now don't get me wrong, everyone has to learn (I'm fairly new to the sport myself), but not at the expense of holding up everyone behind you. It's bad enough that they are pushing out groups at a pace of every 6 minutes or so (and on a course with so many short holes this makes for a big pile up), but they really, really, need to have someone out there telling those types of groups to pick things up. No one wants to arrive at the next tee box and then have to wait for two groups ahead of you to tee off before you get up there, and sadly I think we had to wait at almost every tee box on the entire course.
We almost walked off the course and asked for a refund at the 4th hole. It was well over an hour after our tee time and we were still waiting to tee off at the 4th hole (and the first three are all very short, fast holes!) but my playing partner and I decided to stick it out. It took us over 5 hours to complete this 18 hole executive course. On the 18th hole the party behind us (who I guess were tired of waiting) ended up driving their cart right in front of us (across the tee box) while we were trying to tee off! I don't know if it was ignorance or anger that made them do it -- they didn't speak english and didn't even acknowledge us when we asked them to not drive on the tee box.
Needless to say I won't be returning to this course, ever.
needs work greens so so
Not bad value for what I but course could better with a little more love
18th hole needs to be moved
18th hole needs to be moved forward. Way to close to the homes on the right side. scorecard does not match the course e.g. #2 dogleg to the left on score card and yet the course is laid out dog leg to the right. #3 green needs to be moved to the right. Good course but #18 needs to be fixed before the lawsuits start!
Better than hitting balls at the range
Grass on blue tee boxes need some attention. Other than that its great value for your dollar for a quick practice round.
Short course and noisy
Layout pretty good, but had to wait for people in front who would not let us play through and it was her first time on a course. It should have taken probably 3 to 3 1/2 hrs to play. People need to learn golf ettiquette first then learn how to play. Greens were kind of rough. I'm use to a country setting so for me this course is right in the city and its very noisy with planes flying overhead every 30 seconds. I think normally it would be a good quick little course that fairly inexpensive, but not high quality. Staff was friendly.
Not worth the time, find another place to play!
This is perhaps the worst golf course in Ontario, what shoud take 3 hours to play took more than 5. The first 6 holes is probably the worst 6 laid out holes I have ever seen. It would not matter what the deal is, I would never play this course agaiin. Find some where else to play!!!!!!
The only redeeming grace was the staff, the starter and marshal were very good and the service was great, but it is not good enough to play again.
Both accusations are false... I just looked at my card as I played there Friday and the scorecard is definitely a dog leg right for hole #2 and #18 there is no lawsuit waiting to happen unless you want to tee off backwards, from the 18th tee looking forward and even to each side there is nothing to come close to hitting except grass
