Streetsville Glen Golf Club first opened in 1967, but major renovation in 2001 have updated this golf course, making it more player friendly while still keeping the challenges of the original layout in tact. With only 10 holes when first opening, eight newly designed, thought-provoking holes were added. The golf course is somewhat short but the wind that comes into play on the back nine makes it seem like it plays much longer. There are also well placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout. Streetsville Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the long par-5 sixth, where an out-of-bounds down the entire left side and a pond on the right require shots to not only be long, but also straight.

Terrible experience

Since subdivision was built ...this course has been butchered up.,,not worth 20 dollars.....but charging 45 dollars ....and 35 dollars for cart to offset price of course .....this is no lion head lol.....very bad conditions kind of like a cow pasture or apple farm.....I think they should bulldoze the place and build more houses ....

worse round of golf in years

We get to the second hole and there is four groups waiting to tee off, we were following a threesome, and when we got to the 11th tee we were now behind a sixsome, ughhhh.

Good day out to work on your game

Good value for the course. Great opportunity to work on all aspects of the game, long and short, without ending up in too many bunkers or rough.

Badly needs a marshall, pace was unbearable

The course itself is a bit odd in layout but I could get over that if it wasn't for the fact that they seem to try and jam as many players as possible as fast as possible onto the course but don't really do anything about enforcing a decent pace of play. We were stuck behind a threesome (actually we were two groups behind them) who were all over the map. 8+ practice swings before each shot, stopping to chat with buddies after the practice swings (and then doing them again), hitting poorly off the tee so they hit 2-3 balls before they decided it was ok to continue, waiting for the twosome ahead of them to completely clear the par 5 hole before teeing off, yelling loudly at their buddies who are 50 years away while people around them are trying to shoot, etc.

Now don't get me wrong, everyone has to learn (I'm fairly new to the sport myself), but not at the expense of holding up everyone behind you. It's bad enough that they are pushing out groups at a pace of every 6 minutes or so (and on a course with so many short holes this makes for a big pile up), but they really, really, need to have someone out there telling those types of groups to pick things up. No one wants to arrive at the next tee box and then have to wait for two groups ahead of you to tee off before you get up there, and sadly I think we had to wait at almost every tee box on the entire course.

We almost walked off the course and asked for a refund at the 4th hole. It was well over an hour after our tee time and we were still waiting to tee off at the 4th hole (and the first three are all very short, fast holes!) but my playing partner and I decided to stick it out. It took us over 5 hours to complete this 18 hole executive course. On the 18th hole the party behind us (who I guess were tired of waiting) ended up driving their cart right in front of us (across the tee box) while we were trying to tee off! I don't know if it was ignorance or anger that made them do it -- they didn't speak english and didn't even acknowledge us when we asked them to not drive on the tee box.

Needless to say I won't be returning to this course, ever.

18th hole needs to be moved

18th hole needs to be moved forward. Way to close to the homes on the right side. scorecard does not match the course e.g. #2 dogleg to the left on score card and yet the course is laid out dog leg to the right. #3 green needs to be moved to the right. Good course but #18 needs to be fixed before the lawsuits start!

Both accusations are false... I just looked at my card as I played there Friday and the scorecard is definitely a dog leg right for hole #2 and #18 there is no lawsuit waiting to happen unless you want to tee off backwards, from the 18th tee looking forward and even to each side there is nothing to come close to hitting except grass

Better than hitting balls at the range

Grass on blue tee boxes need some attention. Other than that its great value for your dollar for a quick practice round.

Short course and noisy

Layout pretty good, but had to wait for people in front who would not let us play through and it was her first time on a course. It should have taken probably 3 to 3 1/2 hrs to play. People need to learn golf ettiquette first then learn how to play. Greens were kind of rough. I'm use to a country setting so for me this course is right in the city and its very noisy with planes flying overhead every 30 seconds. I think normally it would be a good quick little course that fairly inexpensive, but not high quality. Staff was friendly.

Not worth the time, find another place to play!

This is perhaps the worst golf course in Ontario, what shoud take 3 hours to play took more than 5. The first 6 holes is probably the worst 6 laid out holes I have ever seen. It would not matter what the deal is, I would never play this course agaiin. Find some where else to play!!!!!!

The only redeeming grace was the staff, the starter and marshal were very good and the service was great, but it is not good enough to play again.

Fun to play but needs maintenance attention

A bit expensive for an executive course, but the pace of play was very quick and it was a fun course to play. Some fairways and greens needed attention. Sad that the course is being slowly reduced because of the housing around it.

Verry disappointed in the course. Worst in terms of any golf course ever played. Unbelievable that it is a Kaneff course.

Very poorly maintained with greens like straw. Inexpensive to golf but cart rental was relatively expensive. Most players walked the course causing long delays. No clear signage to locate course. Spent more time waiting on walkers than actual golf. Shocked to see this course is operated by Kaneff. Very disappointed and would not golf there again. Have never been on a course where abandoned tractor trailer and flat tire truck along with abandonded bridges deface the landscape.

18 holes with a cart

Paid 23 $ with a cart for a single player and hooked up with another twosome. Pace of play was a little slower than usual but was a busy day. Greens were not too soft actually quite bumpy but fairways and rough were nicely cut. I love this course. Booked it three days in advance to score such a great price. Regular price was 45 $ plus tax

Course was worth the money

The only real issue I had was some of the maintainnce staff. They were putting ferterlizer down on greens while we were on next tees. Only 10-15 yards away. Didn't seem to care. This happened a few times.

Decent value for money at $27 for 18 holes.

While I wouldn't pay full price for a round here, for $27 through Golfnow this was a fair value. As a par 63, this course is perfect as a "first round of the year", and as it was my 2nd round this summer suited my needs.

If your Irons need work this is a decent value.

good course, great location

worth a round, a nice course with different challenges, not overly difficult or tight. Some walking to do for a short course. The only hole that makes no sense is #5. Two big willows in the way.
