Savannah Golf Links
About
Sprawling across rolling terrain, Savannah Golf Links features several dramatic elevation changes and several elevated tees and greens. Golfers will be sure to come across many uneven lies. At 6,213 yards from the back tees, it is not a long golf course but it puts a premium on accuracy in order to get a good store, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. Savannah Golf Links offers a variety of challenges, appealing to both low and high handicappers. The most notably difficult hole is the par-4 sixth. This 362-yard hole is a dogleg right with a small landing area that requires a second shot that will carry over water to a postage stamp green with a bunker placed in front.

Savannah Links
Great course if you like to play a good round of 18 holes.
Forgotten gem
I had the opportunity to play Savannah Links on a beautifully warm day in November. I had forgotten how great that course is. Course management is a premium there. The head pro was in a great and friendly mood. Course was in great shape despite all the rain that had fallen the past fees weeks. Definitely going back to play Savannah more often. Especially at the rate$$. Great Course for all skill levels. Cheers Dave
Savannah
As always ...worth the drive to Cambridge!!
Love ..love this little quirky golf course...No 2 holes look the same and a great course to SCORE...
The front 9 has picturesque holes throughout and the Back 9 is time to bring it in strong !!
I would totally add Savannah to MUST play for every golfer in SouthWestern Ontario!!!!
Gorgeous falls colours
The course was in great shape. We walked the course and it is a GOOD walk....A few holes were somewhat challenging.
Savanna Golf
We enjoyed a fun round at Savanna. Pace was good and the course was in pretty great shape. Will try to paly again before the snow falls.
slow play
slow play from groups in front of us. 3 hours front 9. when we walked off, there was a 2 hole gap in front of group ahead of u.s. hey, we rees off at 8 minute intervals. marshall did not care.
Nice track
course was a bit wet, but in good shape, tight track, lots of trouble on the front.
Would be nice if they put some pumps in some of the standing water, lots of bugs on some holes.
Great true links style course
Will definitely be back again good challenging but fair course, great condition even though we played in the rain.
Worth the Drive!!
As always Savannah was in great shape from the Tee's to the green's. Fairways were excellent as well, the only problem on this day was the 2 foursome's in front of us. Not knowing when to hit on certain par 4's. The round was a little longer than usual, but the great weather and the guys I was paired with made for a great day. Recommend this course to anyone.
Great experience
The course is in amazing condition. Greens had been aerated but still ran fairly true. Reception at the course is absolutely fantastic! They make you feel that they are genuinely happy you came to play. Starter very friendly and accommodating. After round was finished they checked with me to make sure everything went as I would expect. Will definitely play here again! Thanks Savannah and Golf Now. Superb experience!
Ok but very slow
Need a Marshall to keep the pace moving. 4 groups waiting at a few holes. Very frustrating.
Great layout - Great condition
The course was in great shape and is very well laid out although on the short side, especially the par 3's. Good bit of water too! Pretty hilly to walk, even with pull-cart was tiring, quite a hike up to some elevated tees. A buggy is a must really!
Played on a Sunday pm and was very busy and pretty slow. Paired up to make four-balls as so busy, close to 4 hours 45 and that with the course being so short is like 5 hours plus elsewhere!
Would definitely play again but might try midweek!
This course is challenging
Don't let the short layout of this course fool you. The rather tight layout requires smart play especially if you're not the best golfer to score well here. The greens are well laid out and the gentle slopes and undulations make them quite challenging to play on. You need to play this course a few times before you can figure out how to play it and score well. Great value for the money.
A fine golf course
After playing Savannah for the first time I was very impressed with the layout and overall condition of the course. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. It only took the three of us 4 hours to play and I enjoyed every minute of this. The greens were tough but fair and very accepting to a good approach shot. I am looking forward to playing there again soon
Savannah links, value for the money
Great course for the money. Some elevation changes make for the need of accurate club selection. Some great risk reward holes. Overall course was in excellent condition. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth the golfnow price. Highly recommended
Price issue
On arrival at Savannah Links we found that the pro shop price was less than the Golf Now price. Very disappointing. The pro shop honoured the lower price but I was out the $11 and change that I paid on booking.
great course
Would definitely go back without hesitation. .good food beautiful course. ..friendly...
More beer needed
Course was in great shape and was a challenging layout. My only criticism was that we only saw the cart girl once - when we waved her down on the 5th tee. On a beautiful Saturday evening with a packed course...should be seeing her at least once per 9.
Good Value
Coarse is in great shape. Would be to hilly to walk. Lots of nice settings with the bush and ponds.
Pace of play & Beverage Cart
It was disappointing that I had to ask the beverage cart girl to have a Marshall to come out to speak to the group ahead of us. They were incredibly slow.
The group behind us was frustrated and hit a ball just paid one of our foursome which could have seriously hurt her.
The tee time interval at SGL is 9 minutes. Although pace of play as a result of course volume is a challenge at times, 1 slow group resulting in poor pace is always dealt with quickly by the marshal who is on staff at all times! Had your concern been brought to the attention of the golf course, I am certain it would have been dealt with appropriately!
