Peninsula Lakes Golf Club - Orchard

About
The Orchard Course is one of three challenging nines at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club. The course's layout features tricky elevation changes and there are also sand traps and bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. Like the other two courses, the Orchard features several lakes but it is flatter, straighter, and more narrow than the other nines. It also plays a bit longer. The par-3 sixth is a scenic challenge with an elevated tee that looks upon a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water. Peninsula Lakes Golf Club is garnering a loyal following for the interesting challenges offered by its 27 unique holes.

$350..,a breakdown at the biggest Golf ripoff in Canada
$350…add tax let’s call it $400. 18 holes… $22 per HOLE. 80 shots … $5 per SHOT
5 hours…$80 per HOUR.
Only a fool and his money would pay to play this very average course.
GolfNow… Why are you promoting this absolute ripoff?
What a joke price
My theory for this outrageous price is that the new owners are trying to run it out of business so they can justify selling the land to developers. I can’t believe people are paying this price. They must be rich and not care about money. No one in their right mind would pay this when there are other courses just as nice if not nicer so 1/3rd the price
ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COURSE
course is such a joke, not worth any amount of money. clubhouse sucks, golf course conditions suck. If raising the price was an attempt to make this course semi private or private and put an expensive price tag on a golf membership to weed out lesser players, this course is TRASH hahahahah. Bad property, boring design. Feel bad for the owners. trash course
Whoever is running this course should be ashamed of themselves.
This is a shame and a crime what the new ownership is charging. It is an easy fix, just stop playing there. No golf is worth this kind of money. Especially here. GolfNow should just remove this course from their site. Please remove them!!!!!!
Pricey
No coarse in the niagara region should be priced at 300 a round . One of my favourite coarses by far but won't be playing here again until they come back to earth .
Appalling 2024 rates
2024 green fee has increased to $350!!!!!!!
For reference it was $85 in 2022 and $175 in 2023.
No major alterations to the course other then change of ownership to the The Fallsview Group. Good luck getting players from out of town for that price.
Nice Course, a little too pricey.
Course is nice, well maintained with a decent level of challenge. Would say the price is a little steep for the course you get. Was a golf weekend trip with this being our last stop. Other courses we played in the Niagara area (Battlefield at Legends) were almost half the price and much better experience overall.
Rip off. Keep looking.
$90 for 9 holes and $175 for 18. One would expect a level of service at that rate. Gas carts with ice bucket held together with duct tape and no ice. No GPS. Someone brought the cart to our car but didn’t bother to wait 10 seconds to help load the clubs onto the cart. No food other than candies on bar cart so if you miss ordering at the turn( no option to call ahead) you are out of luck. Bar cart won’t bring food to you. When we questioned the fees we were told the new owners are looking for a better caliber of golfer.
Very Nice Track
Overall, very nice track course layout is very good. Greens were in good condition. The Cost is on the high side but overall a great experience.
Great course, too expensive
Pen lakes is fantastic, I’ve only ever heard good things about the course and it’s staff. The price is outrageous though!! $175 prime time and $90 twilight is way too high. Considering the types of golfers in Niagara, tourists, mid to high handicaps, or weekend warriors. It is simply too steep a price. The course has never hosted any kind of PGA event, it’s not on a majestic mountain side, it’s just not worth the kind of money plain and simple. I hear they may go private next year which would be a shame but the direction they are going now is a bigger shame. Great course just too expensive.
Good Old Pen Lakes
Very enjoyable round. Everyone was so friendly here and made us feel very welcome ed. The greens were a bit on the slower side but rolled very true.
