Beautiful, great grounds & facilities. As a full course though, I'd expect to use most of the clubs in my bag. I could have shot an 82 on this course using my 3wood, PW & putter. I'd drive.....wedge in. Drive.....wedge in. Only one par 3 needed a club longer than a PW, a 7 iron. Only timeout left my bag.

Great course for mid - low handicaps. I found the course to be in very good condition for spring golf. Greens in particular were very fair for this time of the year. Look forward to returning when it warms up!

Course is always in decent shape and runs smoothly. However, the most recent time I played there the cart died after 15 holes and we had to push it with our other cart and friends. Was provided refund for the cart rental but with the effort and inconvenience of the issue I don't feel we got our fees worth that day.

It is worthwhile for me to play again. Fairway is good. Green is chanllenge.

Excellent conditions for early spring golf!!! Greens in good shape.

Had a wonderful Masters Sunday on the coarse. Weather was great, company fun, and the coarse challenging. Great shape for this early. The rounded ended with two beer and the last 4 holes of the masters in the club house.
Love when a plan comes together.

Played in 50km/h wind. Heavy rain the night before caused standing water in areas, but in general the course drained very well. Greens were completely dry and somewhat sandy from topdressing in the fall. One major letdown for a course that charges premium pricing and forces you to ride is that the cart paths are in VERY poor shape, and our cart ran out of juice on the 12th hole. Inexcusable considering the cart was taken right out of the pen. This time of year, if you can catch a deal it's worth it but come the summer months Royal Ontario is known to be unplayable due to 6+ hour rounds in the afternoons and weekends.

Played April 6th. Greens were sprayed/cut/rolled day of. Greens didnt have a rough winter at all and will be excellent once summers rolls around. Course had great conditions considering time of year.

Is one of the fist courses open this season and is in good conditions after winter.

only got to play 16 holes before it rain but it was well worth it

This is a nice course with a good layout. For late in the season the course was in pretty good shape - especially the sand traps. Regular price is way too much - good value on GolfNow.

Cold, wet, leaves everywhere. Lost a ball after driving it down the middle of the fairway but what can I expect with leaves everywhere. Had the course to myself. Nice layout, but some tough blind shots. Greens were recently aerated and fairways were all chewed up, but again, what can I expect being late in the season. Was just happy to squeeze in a round on what seems to be a nice course when its not raining with 50 km/hr winds. Surprisingly shot well despite the conditions...go figure. Would never pay the regular green fees but got a great deal on golf now so overall I was happy with the experience. Nice clubhouse, friendly staff. Will give it another shot come spring.

Typical fall weather, little rain, lots of leaves and some aeration of greeens; but lucky it was very warm day. Course was still in good shape although greens needed a cut.

I exprienced today that;
when We arrived earlier than our time, proshop said we have to wait till on time because many plyer waiting. and starter said proshop order to hold us till on time. Only after another golfer start earlier than 30 min, proshp let us play but starter follow us at 1st green ask us go back to 1st tee and wait till on time. he hasitate appology us even recieved information from ptoshop. they very rude and impolite very much

There is no way this place is worth the $120/round that is posted on their website. Overall the course was in ok shape. Fairways and greens were good, greens were hard, and chewed up (it is the fall though) and the sand traps were in good shape.

Worst part about this course was how slow the pace of play was. We finished the round over the 5 hour mark, and it took us 3 hours just to finish the front 9. The course was clearly packing in as many people as possible to get their last few dollars for the season......if you want to play at this course, wait until next year or your going to be waiting at every hole.

Great course but too crownded. It took me 5:45 to finish 18 holes.
The washroom outside at nine hole is dirty. Was not clean for many days.

Although, not the best public course in the area (crosswinds, pipers) it still can hold it's own. Some really tight fairways and elevation changes along with some very undulating greens make royal Ontario a true test of ones golfing abilities. A negative at this time of year are the greens which were pretty chewed up on some holes. Other than that, a great day at royal Ontario!

Played with a friend from Michigan .. we both very much like the course.
We would definitely play again!

good course to play from any tees. a good test of your golfing skills.
