Always a treat!
Playing this course is always a treat! Considering we have had a dry summer, this coarse was lush and green.. The tee decks beautiful and plentiful with several options to suit your game. Fairways were in beautiful condition and the greens were lightning fast even after a night of rain. In my opinion, the best coarse in the Niagara region.
Beautiful day on this course
Fairways & greens in excellent shape. Sand traps crusty surfaces from lack of rain I guess.
Pro shop staff & starter very friendly..
Great Time
Came to the course for the first rime.
Met by very friendly staff, and as we were golfing we met some very nice members., that we ended up golfing with as we were only a 2 some. Overall an awesome time and highly recommended.
Grand Niagara is still the head of the class
I have played GN many time over the years, though this was the first time this season. They have switched the 9’s, and I was not alone in heading to the “wrong” hole to start the round.
The maintenance crew was on the course - we saw them three times. Each time the crew was respectful about our play, and friendly. The course was in great shape and greens were quick and consistent. The pace on the course was just under four hours, which was too bad as our wonderful day went by faster than we’d like.
It was a great day and we’re looking forward to returning for another shot at taking on this lovely Rees Jones layout.
Perfect Golf Experience
Great day, Great Course. Sadly I hear this course has been sold to future development.
Play it while you can
This place is a gem, obviously the business model had some issues as year after year it gets dumbed down and loses some of its gloss. The bones can’t be denied however and it remains the top design in the area. Unfortunately the news is it’s being sold off piece by piece and will be gone before you know it. Get out and play it before it goes bye bye.
Played in the wind but Course was in great condition, greens were firm but ran true. Fairway are generous but need to be in the middle. Staff was great
Beautiful country course
Course was not busy when we played.
Staff was very friendly.
Course in great shape.
Nice fast greens make sure you're below the hole.
Very relaxing game in the country!
Beautiful Course
Four gals from Toronto played this course that was highly recommended to us. Everything was so well maintained from tee decks, fairways, bunkers, to greens. Super friendly staff will definitely be back to this amazing course!
Best Public course I’ve played in Ontario
A very experienced Ontario golfer took me here and said there was nothing comparable in the GTA or Golden Horseshoe. After playing I couldn’t agree more.
This course is setup for people who love the game of golf and appreciate the things that tell you a course cares. In no particular order here are the things that I loved:
- Level tee boxes
- Pure and challenging greens
- Deep quality sand
- Well maintained fairways
- Overall maintenance was great
- Ability to find your tee shot (no gimmicks)
- Great good and beverages at the turn
- Friendly staff
This place is a little slice of heaven on earth and really put an exclamation mark on a great trip to Niagara region (which was absolutely fantastic aside from the wine).
